Just wondering...has anyone had problems with their headphones in Windows? My speakers work fine, but as soon as I plug the headphones in I lose all sound. In Mac OS X both the speakers and the headphones are functional. A lot of people have reported the same problem and I'm wondering if you've tried using your headphones in Boot Camp...

Core Clock: 706Mhz

:)

Everything runs great. Bootcamp nvidia driver 196.81 (I think it was .81)
Are there newer official drivers out there I might use, ssn637??

And do you know reasons as to why my ntools config does not allow FSB tweaking?! I am totally clueless in that regard

Edit: We've found a 64-bit audio driver that works, and I'm back in Windows 7 Ultimate x64! So much snappier... and the overclock settings stick. Now we just need to figure out how to overclock the CPU. The 64-bit driver I uploaded works just fine.

I was forced to perform a clean installation of Windows 7 Ultimate in 32-bit mode because the Cirrus Logic audio drivers only allow speaker output in 64-bit systems, and I needed headphone capability. I tried to overclock the GPU to the settings you provided but when running 3D Mark 06 the system froze. I also noted when monitoring with GPU-Z that the highest shader clock frequency possible on my system was 1215 MHz: when running 3D Mark 06 at my preferred 1265 MHz the GPU shader down-clocked to 540 MHz after a few minutes. My final GPU settings are now 575 / 1215, which yielded the following 3D Mark 06 score:

On my MBP the LubbosFanControl doesn't seem to work. The fans do not run faster when I set them to 6000 rpm

same here. It's getting all the time back to the defaults. I also saved the profile but when I choose it, there is no "apply" button so I have to type he values every time I start the mac. I'm also sometimes getting the error "invalid values" or something like that.

please can someone tell us what is the right version he use (nvidia driver + nvidia system tools ) so we can overclocking ?
thanks for advance.

Lots of people have had success with nvidia system tools. I haven't so I use nvidia inspector on my Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit partition.

Use search next time.

Here's the guide from another topic
Anyways, I will try to make this as easy as possible since i keep getting comments for it:

1) DL any driver from Laptopvideo2go. I am currently using these:
197.16

2) DL the custom INF from that forum as well

3) PLEASE follow this GREAT guide Here on how to replace the INF and install the drivers.
NOTE: AFTER YOU REMOVE YOUR OLD NVIDIA DRIVERS, USE A PROGRAM LIKE DRIVER SWEEPER IN SAFEMODE TO CLEAN THE REMNANTS OF THE DRIVER

4) Next, install the latest Nvidia tools here

5.Now you should be good to go!

are there any better performing drivers than 197.45 for the 320m?

Thanks!

I'm using 197.16 and it seems fine. Just keep using 197.45 if you don't have any problems with it.

has anyone managed to get higher than 5340 on 3Dmark06 with the 320m. If you have could you please post the drivers you are using and you core/shadow frequency's?

Thanks!

You can overclock from the bootcamp drivers off the bat. And i believe he was using the latest ntools for OC.

Just one thing, i have the same specs like the creator of this thread. all my games run fluently. I dont have to OC. mw2 all on high no stutters. Lfd2 med - high really smooth 35-40 fps. and i get more if i tweak the settings.

I managed to get 5320 in 3Dmark06 with the new macbook unibody white (320m)
2gb ram etc, the base line model.

I am using the bootcamp drivers, version 196.82 with the following core/shader clock frequency, im using nvidia tools to overclock.

Core Clock: 631
Shader Clock: 1300

I can play left for dead 2 maxed out settings with AA at 2x, rarely goes below 30FPS usually stays around 35-40 FPS. (I played for more than an hour, heat was not an issue)

I also tried all of the drivers mentioned above but none scored higher than the included boot camp driver, which surprised me.

Hope this helps for people that are curious about the new white macbook =)

Yep, 196.82(bootcamp drivers) and nvidia tools it is all you need.

Yep i am really amazed of this Integrated gpu 320m. Considering left for dead 2 is cpu/gpu hungry it cud run it fluently without any overclock needed on mine. Modernwarfare 2 also smooth as a butter. i dont even use any fan controller. I just let the macbook pro default fan settings do its job. no problem with heat whatso ever.

I use hwmonitor for temps tho. Pretty cool imo.

Hey all, i wonder if any of you know evga precision it's a soft with what you can overclock your graphic card without any other set up...

I would like to know if it's better or not before trying it.

Tx
