38 ss bsb

Looks like I'll be joining this thread. Received a 42mm Space Grey Sport yesterday but decided it's a little too big for my wrists. Sold it on Craigslist today for $600, upgraded to the Stainless Steel 38mm, and didn't lose a single dollar. Was thinking it would be another long wait but these posts and next day shipping status updates make me excited to see it very soon! :D

I don't know if/when the store actually said 1-2 weeks, but it has said 3-4 weeks since at least Monday but it is actually shipping next day.
 
Ordered mine at 2pm on Saturday and received it yesterday. It's a little smaller than I thought but still a good size. I actually just ran into a girl at work in the elevator who got her 42mm SG yesterday. The 42 might be a little better fit for me but for now I'll hold on to this one.

Now, once I got it yesterday it had 65% battery so I charged up to 80% and went to the gym. I used the "other" workout for my weight training and then did the stair stepper workout for...the stair climber. My initial thoughts are that it's cool but I'm not sure how accurate it is. I was getting different readings on heart and calorie burn from the machines at the gym vs the watch. it's probably somewhere in the middle as far as accuracy.

I think it's a cool device so far. I'm still waiting on my 38mm SG BSB to show up though I may cancel. I'm thinking about the 42mm now that I've seen one in the wild. Time will tell...

Go with your gut. When I tried the 42mm, my gut was saying 38 was right for me.
 
Arrived today.

Very happy with the size. I think the 42mm would be too big and geeky.

Now just trying to learn this thing.
 
I am so irritated...

I ordered May 12 around 1:56pm PST. My watch was charged the next day at 4am. I received an email at 4am saying one of my cards were declined. I went online and updated the payment within 10 minutes. I am now STILL stuck on processing. I already updated payment, payment was taken...Why haven't I gone to PFS. :( It has been over 24 hours since I was charged.

I wouldn't think that would have delayed my order that much. I have never been charged and then sat at processing for more than three hours, it is usually a quick change. I was hoping to get it by Friday but it looks like that won't happen now.....
 
I've ordered 3 of these things with my Amex, maybe look into another card for the future?
 
Ordered yesterday @ 1PM (Pacific). No progress yet, still processing. Was hoping to wake up to "Preparing for Shipment" but, as long as I get it next week I'll be happy. Its still much earlier than Apple's e.t.a. on the watch.
 
Delivered at 9AM this morning! I forgot how much heavier this feels over the sport. Not substantial, but definitely noticeable.

I definitely like it with the black band over the white. Much less flashy but still classy.

Thanks for the update. Is this the one you ordered Tuesday? I'm 24 hrs behind you, ordered yesterday.
 
Something interesting as observed by another MR user in a different thread: I ordered yesterday and my original e.t.a. as stated in the confirmation email has been pushed back by one day on the order status page.
 
I ordered a 38 ss WSB yesterday at 12:20pm est. My original delivery has been pushed back a day. I will be interested to see how quickly things move.

I just looked and I have the same. Originally June 8, now June 9th. Has the other poster received the watch?
 
On one hand, I think I'm crazy for returning the silver sport for this model, but after seeing these shipping fast and the return date for the sport as 5/14, I knew I had to jump on it or 5/14 was going to pass and I was going to regret it until 2nd gen.

I had a black band ordered for the sport, so technically this would have been a 150 premium over the silver WSB sport for me. I have to say looking at this now, hot damn! It's a good looking watch.

No, he had ordered it this morning. Friday delivery is looking unlikely but I'm still hopeful for Monday/Tuesday.
 
I still don't get how I was charged almost 48 hours ago but still sit in processing. Chat didn't make me feel any better either. They said "we don't show we have held anything on your card"...Uh yeah, full price was charged.


Blah.... :(
 
Order delivery just changed to 2-3 weeks which bumped the earliest delivery day up to June 4th. Hoping that means it's going to ship real soon
