No, I don't think there is any logic to it if we put all the countries into the mix - there seem to be differences depending on where you are. But at XX:20 you would think that something should be coming up for you soon - crossing my fingers for you!
 
Order just changed to shipped - xx:06:40, NYC. Should hopefully arrive by Monday.

A sincere good luck to all those who are still waiting - I don't know anyone else in real life who's preordered, so commiserating with you guys was what kept me sane. See you on the other side.

When you called in did the CSR tell you anything new about shipping or are you just assuming based on progress seen here? Curious b/c I'm in the :8 minute with you.

I'm assuming/hoping based on the progress we've seen so far. She specifically mentioned that I was still in the May 13 window, but had a chance to get it sooner and to keep an eye out for a shipping email.
 
I remember groggily waking up, looking at the clock and seeing it was 3:15am, then remembering I was going to order, and I had slept through my Fitbit's silent alarm. I actually debated whether I was going to bother (I hadn't decided until earlier on the 9th that I was getting one for sure - in other words that's when I asked my wife). Then without so much as sitting up, I grabbed my phone and was surprised it was already mid May shipping estimate. But, remembering the iPhone 6 launch I went ahead and ordered and fell back asleep.

The next day I wasn't even sure it had happened until I found the confirmation email, which has a 3:20:06 EDT time stamp. Given the astonishingly small amount of effort it took, I've been having fun waiting and checking here, actually, as much as I'd like it ASAP.

Just filling time 🙂

So above was in early afternoon.

Got notification from Apple as I was leaving work that the watch had shipped and should arrive Monday.

Went out for dinner, and just came home. Checked UPS tracking, and it says my watch is shipping from Ontario, CA.

I had also ordered a Space Grey 42, which shipped on the 29th and arrived on the 30th. That one shipped from Harrisburg, PA.

Can't remember anything I ordered from Apple shipping from Ontario before. Going to be an interesting weekend tracking my watch as it crosses the country. 😀

I give up, I'm assuming, if lucky I'll get it by May 27th at this point...

I've already seen a ton of people receive theirs whom have order confirmations after my xx:06:02, likewise I've seen a ton of people who ordered before me that still have yet to receive theirs...

Absolutely worst organization of distribution of any product I've seen yet...

I'm glad you're being reasonable and accepting that you have 26 days until Apple is actually late, based on what they originally estimated for you.

There have been 8 days since the phone launched, if you're keeping track.
 
Does Apple charge/prepare for shipment on the weekends or should I expect no movement on my order until at least Monday?
 
I was charged last Saturday night and it is still

"Processing Items Available to ship: 4-6 weeks
Delivers: May 13 - May 27 by Standard Shipping"

My credit card was just charged!

Order confirmation on 4/10 at XX:07. Still processing, but hopefully that'll change by Monday. Located in Oxford, MS.
 
Still waiting on my xx:44 38mm space grey order. I thought I'd see if I could order a 38mm SS Classic buckle two days ago and it shipped same day and arrived yesterday. I actually ended up returning it to the store today because I felt like the taptic notifications were really soft compared to other models I've experienced (had it on full blast with prominent on)... Specifically the 38mm sport. Sad to have returned the SS model but I'm excited about the 38mm space grey! It really is an awesome device and if the taptic notifications had been stronger I would have kept it.

And no sooner do I post (in another thread) that the SG's slowed to a trickle, and I see a new flurry. Next week is back in play for me I think...
 
The ordering website was throttled in the early minutes of pre-ordering and unavailable for me and many others until 6-7 minutes after the hour. I believe by the time I could get in to order that the orders were easing up and thus the servers no longer choked. If I'm right, then we should see the order time minutes start to tick by faster in the days ahead, hopefully this weekend.

Inlcuded both the 42mm SG and 38mm SG
Estimated Shipping is May 13-27
Colorado Location

Charge for the 38mm SG was just charged today
They also charged me several times for what I think is the apple care.
4/11 for $98
5/02 for $98
5/02 for $49

Still no update for my 42mm, and my GF is rubbing it in my face.
