38mm Space Grey People comment status here!

so my last post was me saying I give up...

Watched the new Avengers this morning, got home and my card was charged at 13:51 EST :eek:

That was a shocker... still nothing else, but hell, movement in some form!
 
Ordered at 9:16 on the 10th and out for delivery, will get it next week after the UK bank holiday
 
Interesting thing to note, at least for me, I ordered both the 42 and 38, with the 42 order first. No movement on the 42 so far, and I was just charged for the 38. Looks like the 38 orders are now outpacing the 42 pretty significantly, which I suppose was to be expected. I should have ordered the 38 first...
 
Been working in the yard today, just came inside to an notification from AMEX on my iPhone screen telling me there was a charge made to Apple for $369.40 3 hours ago! (approx 1:25p eastern). So I checked my order status and it's "preparing for shipment."

My order conf. came in at XX:08:49, about 30 to 40 seconds after I ordered. Looks like the 7s, 8s, and 9s are going out now.

So next step is to see if its shipping from China or PA.

Might as well order. If it doesn't ship you can cancel online. Very easy, so nothing is lost for trying.

My order for the 38mm SG was placed 4/10 at xx:08:36 and I was charged at 12:18 today. My watch is now Preparing for Shipment.

Love Apple products, not waiting for them

Totally agree! Communications on Apple's side have been dismal -- they are quick to tell the media about any watches that are shipping, but are terrible about giving customers any information at all.

Surprised that a company with Apple's wealth and experience isn't handling this better.

I ended up ordering a 38mm SS BCB(delivery on Monday), didn't cancel this one yet but it ended up changing to 'Preparing for Shipment' right now.

According to the email headers, the time is Fri, 10 Apr 2015 00:11:36.
 
Damned by bad luck. Watch arrived to Borderlinx on friday. Friday was a public holiday, then saturday and sunday they don't have any workers and then monday is also a public holiday :( Damn those lazy British workers requiring holiday when I want my watch :p
