38mm Space Grey People comment status here!

My Sports SG 38mm xx.18 email confirmation has now arrived at Borderlinx(UK), will be here in Sweden in 2-3days. Had to pay ~€50 for insurance, fuel, tax and everything but I bet it will be worth it :D

06:38 and I was charged overnight. No changes to order status yet. So, hopefully the 6s & 7s will start feeling some love! Shipping to NC.
 
No charge for me last night. XX:07:09

Guess it will be another day of moping. :(

same here no charge ,no movement.no email.but i wait for it,no use trying to get one faster,and turn out i don't like the color

Remember, people in Europe are ahead of the US on the clock. Maybe today will just be a big day for the 38mm SG, and by the end of the day, xx:17+ pre-orders will be shipped in the US too!

One can hope (more of a pipe dream at this point...)
 
believe it or not, someone in the uk posted his watch (38,space gray, sport) being prepared for dispatch today... with an actual order being placed on the 11th april
 
Mine just changed to Preparing to ship. Ordered it at xx:05.

Any chance for it to arrive tomorrow?

I'm in the UK and I ordered mine on the 11th (11:00am) no dispatch or charge so far but it changed last week from "June" to delivery between 20/05 - 02/06

My xx:06:40 order also just changed to PFS, about 7 hours after the charge this morning. East coast USA.

I was getting desperate last night and placed an order for the $700 SS classic buckle that everyone was saying shipped same day. Cancelled that this morning.
 
I sold mine for $680 on eBay. I just couldn't justify keeping it when it's that valuable. Now I preordered another this morning. It will cost me under $100 after the profit from the sale, but I won't have a watch until July :(

I admit I'd strongly consider doing the same thing... if I had it by now.

The fact that they are so limited at the moment is the only reason it's so valuable. Certainly a unique situation.

If I had any idea, I would have ordered another one or two, or had my parents/friends order a couple (I also ordered a 42mm SGS for a friend which also delivered yesterday, so I maxed out 2 per household). It's not a big deal, I can wait 2 months if it saves me $300. Might not even have to wait that long.

Got charged overnight, status just changed to preparing for shipping.

Since it is shipping to my office, I'll probably get it Monday, unless I figure out a way to pry it away from UPS over the weekend. :apple:

By the time I get one (I ordered at XX:17) it probably won't be that valuable anymore - as lots of people who really wanted it, probably pre-ordered it already.

Also, I'm getting impatient as it is... so once that box gets to my door, I'd probably have a big problem leaving it alone.

I'll probably just keep mine - but I certainly can't blame anyone for cashing in on this situation. It makes sense to wait 2 more months if it means getting one for free.

Yeah I feel bad that one of you will have to wait a bit longer, but it's hard to turn down a few hundred dollars. Also, if anyone is rich and impatient, you can get one on eBay for $500-$600, unopened. Hooray capitalism :rolleyes:
 
I'm in the UK and I have been charged for my daughter's watch today and it's gone to preparing to ship. I assume it won't shop over the weekend so would you think I'm looking at delivery on Tuesday?

I wrote back to Apple about the above problem, and just heard back from them: they apologised and said they had made a mistake with the time, not taking into account the time difference. So I am back to being officially 9:17, not 11:23 - phew! :)

You inspired me to check with Apple again and I had a similar issue, the person I spoke to originally read the time format wrong, the new person clarified that my actual order is at xx:08:02 so I'm feeling pretty relieved. Hopefully I get to see mine next week!
