3G iPhone Case Revealed?

I got this email too this morning, was wondering if I should post it here. But saves me the trouble, MacRumors is always on top of breaking news 
The way I see it...
This image was released to grab site visitors for the case manufacturer. While I don't think it's possible to say this is what the 3G iPhone will look like, there's always a chance it is, a la iPod Nano.

Yeah I thought that it was mostly speculation
I think making it fatter (or rounder as it seems in those pics) would be something that apple would avoid. I don't really read anything into these renders.

Didn't something similar happen with a case for the iPod touch? Where it was released before the product?

I'm just wondering... why does it say "now shipping"? lol If you buy it, do you get it before your iPhone since it's not even out yet??
Strange. I could go 50/50 on believing this is the form of the new phone. Why would they release something they're not sure about? What if someone orders it, and then gets the iPhone and it doesn't fit? Or someone orders it, it ships after the iPhone is launched, and they slightly redesigned the case because they got something wrong, and the customer doesn't like it anymore?
Ah well. Next month is just a couple weeks away.
Now how about this for a rumor!! I was talking to Colonel Tigh about the iPhone, and he said he heard from Anders who heard from Cheif Tyrol who heard from Grace Park (while she was doing naked ballet) that the 3G iPhone is alive!! And it has the red light thingy going back and forth on it. Also, part of it transforms into a gun.

I just want the iPhone to be released so all the people complaining about there being too much iPhone news will all shut the hell up.
A little thicker wouldn't bother me. But I hope it's not heavier, in fact I hope they figure out a way to make it even lighter.

Apple Legal would have trounced on this by now, even if it were slightly close to resembling the real deal.
Good guesswork on their part - with all the hype, surely droves of uninformed people will "pre-order" one.
This one is due for a miscarriage.
Imagine the company that introduced the world's thinnest laptop to follow it up with the world's thickest iPhone.
What a train wreck that would be. Apple's marketing is trying to equate thinness with technological innovation, and a thicker innovation would take that equation and work it against them.
