But? Apple announced the iPhone in January so it could get FCC approval by June, wouldn't a 3G version have to go though the same hurdles?
Also, 3G isn't that widespread in rural areas, so, for me and millions of others, who cares...
because iPhone sales in Europe where 3G is widespread have been mediocre and in many markets in Asia, which has potential for a lot of sales, a non-3G phone just doesn't exist.
