3G iPhone Pricing to Remain at $399, $499? Launch At WWDC?

I waited, and waited. Then there was a price drop... I saw people p!ssed off and made our uncle Steve write a letter, along with $100 rebates. Then I bought my iPhone.

Ach, we'll see if there's going to be another price drop this time. I guess not really, they'll probably introduce higher capacity iPhones then shift the prices down.

Nope. I haven't bought one yet. I've been waiting on the 3G iPhone.

From O2 Rep: September 08 & "much more expensive"

Hi. For what it's worth: a long conversation with O2 rep today; largely around data transfer issues and we came round (briefly) to iPhone, I mentioned the 3G model which elicited a casual comment that it's due in the UK September and will be "very much more expensive". Exploring that element our exchange produced some slightly flustered back-tracking and the comment that 'I must have read that somewhere'.
