You know, this is a great way for Apple to test their products. They post a single photo if they're in need of opinions and see what we think. If we love it, they make it, if we hate it (as is the case here) they redesign.

That's what private testers are for, it would be ridiculous to "test" the public.

I don't think its such a bad idea considering when you think about it, after all you would be selling this to the public.

So why not "leak" and then gauge reactions.

LOL... This is either true, or this pic is a good cover up. Because the bottom now looks photochopped on. Anyone else see text is now straight up and down but the phone is lying down. Laying mine down at the same angle, not the same...

Little screwy or I need to have my eyes rechecked... overdue anyways.

BUT the image is .png, as if it was edited, camera's take .jpg's. So something was done to it.

I just know that it is not real but fake. since I have used Apple products a lot, I know their style for decades. they don't do like this. they will still keep silver tan back even though it will be upgrade to 3G.

Yes, the entire photo had a drop shadow edited to it.

Could this be something from apple to get our opinions and then at a better glance see that it can't be real. A real fake wouldn't be saved as a png. People arn't that dumb.

Apple likes to keep its external designs as long as possible. This helps to keep costs down. I would be surprised if a phone after only 12 months serve would be redesigned unless it was significantly different size.

Look how long the Pro computer machines have had the same design. Also there is no way Apple will have low priced phone in a different case due to same cost reasons.
