Definitely fake - you can see the groove on the sides and the middle is smudged like clone tool can look like.
 
Yep, this is eather the first custom cover to also replace the bottom half of the back iPhone case, a normal custom cover picture thats been Photoshoped or just a normal Photoshoped iPhone pic. I think its one of the last 2... That seems most likley

Eather way, this is a obvious fake, Apple would never make this, it looks like the quality of a crappy Chinese knock-off.

ya..thats what i thought..but then maybe apple knows this by now and they are just letting us speculate. i hope it's not this one though...looks thick n too big.
n to the person who said they can't rekove the information on the back.. do they really have to put it?i mean i don't see any other phone showingit like this...umm... nope!can't recall any phone showing this info on the back!
 
Fake...

The Apple Logo has the curved reflection continuos across the top, yet the logo does not seem to be reflective material. Someone mistakenly continued the reflection as though it were a shadow. The white logo should be the same throughout. This is probably a case or mock up that they then added the logo and lower script with "8 GB" to add realism. BTW, don't you think the 3G might be 16GB as a selling point by the time they release? Justify a higher price point?

please look at this thing... it is a cool concept but you can clearly tell that this was a poor spray paint job because of all the bubbles... not a trick of the light... peace to all....

Um, no folks...that's a Colorware iPhone. You can see where they Photoshoped it out right above the iPhone name - it's slightly blurry. The back is metallic black (hence the speckles). Plus the bottom of the trackpad has different shading - dark on one side, light on the other (which wouldn't be the case if the light source was coming from the same direction).
 
From the picture on page 15 or 16 of the phone before it was edited does anyone else notice that the writing is in the wrong place or the writing is in the write place but the line for the antenna case is in the wrong place and get me if im wrong but that line looks soooo fake and ye i agree the writing is to flat.


Will the admin please close this thread 17 pages is enough about a product over three-quarters of us agree is fake!!!

What? Were you just saying that we shouldn't be allowed to discuss an allegedly fake product? Well... shut down this whole site, then, as discussing might-or-might-not-be-fake-products is essentially what forms Mac Rumors...:)

I mean, much better than the current one, in my opinion...

And those who say this one is "so much huger", it's not and who cares if it is, anyway? Don't you want 3G, a better camera and all that cr+p?

Man, I would love if the new iPhone was just like that...

It's not fake to me too. looks quite real (MBA theme?) and who told you that this is plastic? It looks like some kind of enamel to me, my current moto krazr has similar front cover and it is quite scratch resistant too. :confused:

I think iPhone 1.0 looked similar to the MBA theme as well did it consist of traits from the new iMac's style. I still think it's fake but who knows?!? :confused:

And I highly doubt if Apple were to make it official, and said the above picture was the new iPhone, they would not make it plastic :p

Not to flog a decidedly dead horse, but Colorware give an option to have the logo done in different colours, including WHITE.
