3G iPhone with Glossy Black Back?

I don't remember everybody testing the photo in photoshop with contrast levels, etc.. with the "fat ipod nano"
Thats because many people have just descovered the joy of messing with fake iPhone pictures in Photoshop! I would join in too but I am to poor to afford Photoshop
about the black iPhone pics... on the bottom, could that be a scratched out Colorware logo? and why is there no cereal(lol) number?

If it's a fake (the original) then I'm one duped SOB. And that person is on the pot way too long.
If there's a second person in there... Second gunmen, then I would presume it's a female who did this. Not too many males visit the bathroom in pairs NOR do they share the same stall.
So to sum up the consipracy so far. It MAY be real or fake. It could be a colorware mockup. But what we know for fact so far is that It's a female with too much time on her hands who likes to hang out with other females in the bathroom taking photo's then spending a lot of time in Photoshop to make it appear extremely real. Then she likes to have her friend hover over her, this probably means she has issues being alone. She then likes to save it to a reduced format so nobody can tell if it's a fake. She also has bad taste in clothing.
Does that about sum it up for everyone? Or would anyone like to throw out their hypothesis?

That just depends on what you set as number of posts per page. Me, I'm on page 14 (40 posts to a page).
Fake, or a clever leak from Apple of the budget iPhone so we're distracted from the real 3G iPhone.
And the guys (and gals) from Apple are laughing their heads off reading this thread.
I'd imagine that they'd have much better things to do than read a 28 page thread on a photoshopped colorware iPhone - y'know things like getting A2DP working or even Todo/Notes syncing support.

Actually, I think the folks at Cupertino have two reactions to all the threads on this site - intense laughter (as you mentioned in the case of this thread), and mild to extreme annoyance (when a rumor is accurate).

I agree with drb6, the color scheme just isn't apple. the back has always been chrome or the silver on the iPhone. I say its a regular iPhone with a very nice custom paint job. I would love it if apple released an all black iPhone but it probably wont happen.

Real or fake, this is definitely *not* a photoshopped "colour-ware" iPhone. Period.
- The line that has been photoshopped on the *second* picture (charcoal coloured iPhone at an angle) is obvious and "smudgy" and would totally show up if the levels were altered even slightly in that picture as they were in the first one.
- The first one, (the four views) that I posted, has a line that is the result of *my* manipulations, not in the original photo.
- If it was a photoshopped colour-ware phone, the black plastic part would not be reflective so when the levels were changed, it would show up as a different material. This phone has a uniformly glossy back.
It may or may not be real, but unless they have filled in the crack between the two back sections with some kind of flexible putty and then coated the entire phone with deep gloss car paint, it is *not* a colourware phone.

After reading all the posts, I would lean towards fake.
However, this reminds me of the 3G iPod Nano, when we saw the picture of the five of them organized like a Pentagon. Everyone thought fake, but ended up being true. So who knows.

I think that it is fake because Apple Legal hasn't stepped in.
I kind of hope that it isn't because I think that it looks pretty nice.

i love the one-piece design on the back instead of the black plastic/silver aluminum design it currently is sporting. i just hope it's made of a material that's scratch resistant so it'll keep its shine.

are you being sarcastic? because it is not a colorware iphone. for one its 1 piece not 2 like the colorware ones, and 2, it doesnt have the colorware logo on the bottom, and 3 colorware iphones dont have all that writing that says iphone 8gb fcc serialnumber:xxxxxx etc.
I'm not sure if it's a fake or not but i just modded a colorware iphone, and tell me what you think? i think apple will go with the black iphone 1 peice back peice. it looks nice. but also, why is everyone stressing about what it's going to look like

Anyone noticed that the mbp screen reflected in the iPhone seems to be displaying iTunes with an iPhone connected to the computer? You can make out the 3D'd iPhone image, and even the colours of the the capacity bar indicating photos, music, movies etc. Also you can see the active 'summary' tab. Bit odd isn't it?
