Loving the reviews and I'm really excited now for my pre order to arrive. I'm enjoying the live Q&A on the verge alot of good Q's getting answered. :)

The display alone, ALONE, makes this worth it. Never mind everything else.

Retina is a phenomenal enhancement of the User Experience. It isn't just a spec.

What do you mean ALONE? Nothing else changed. Well, the size and weight have increased but that's hardly a plus.

For people complaining about the 3rd gen. iPad, you really can't. It offers a phenomenal user experience. The app store, ease-of-use, responsiveness and ecosystem were already amazing, but now you have an iPad with an ultra-high resolution display, more speed, better graphics, a better camera and dictation.

Enjoy it. There's nothing else comparable to the iPad right now.
More speed?

Seems as if David Pogue is the only one who isn't that blown away. He said it should have been named the iPad 2s. To each his own.
NY times is probably still pissed Apple ignored them with the whole Mountain Lion preview. :p. of course USA Today has to do th obligatory comparison to the Kindle Fire, as if the two are even close to being the same class of product.

I'm liking the Verge's upload and download speeds in Midtown Manhattan. My Verizon iPad might rival my Verizon FiOS! (Of course, FiOS has no caps or throttling).

I feel like a dumbass for not pre-ordering. But I'll have no problem standing out in the rain in front of best buy for one of these bad boys friday morning :D:D:D

I look forward to see if Apple (or some sleazy local retailer) is going to advertise this iPad as 4G in Europe since our frequencies are different than those used in the USA or Canada...

But you do have DC-HSDPA, which is comparable to 4G and is definitely better than the HSPA+ AT&T (and only AT&T, not including T-Mobile) has here.

did not realize that LTE is faster than my wifi at home. maybe its a good thing that I didn't get LTE version.

Thanks for posting the videos too.

Seems amazing. I have not purchased an iPad, yet. Sounds like getting this new one is the way to go. Wonder if I buy the wifi version only will speed be much better then the previous model?
Specs seem to make me think so but everyone is focusing on the LTE part.

Just because your telco's and LTE suck's, doesn't mean we should rename our DC-HSDPA to 4G to make you feel better about your bills for poor service. Apple is asking for a lawsuit if they keep marketing it as 4G in European countries.
