Kinda bug: Used PkgBackup to restore everything. I had to reboot for all my apps and stuff to show up.
No dice. MuscleNerd says a fix will come via an update package or in the updated ultrasn0w (or both).
yep saw that... at least it will be a cydia package instead of a whole new pwnagetool jailbreak procedure
Use pwnagetool if you need to keep your baseband. If you are not unlocked (or factory unlocked), you can update to 4.3.1 through itunes and then use redsn0w.
I'm gonna use redsnow since it says on the dev-team blog that it's the easier one to use.
A quick noob question guys. If I jailbreak my iPhone 4 running 4.3.1 on my Mac with redsn0w, will I lose any data? ie. text messages, settings, game saves etc?
Arg, getting errors left and right on iTunes! Just gonna restore and forget about preserving baseband...I'm on AT&T anyways 
Thanks bwrairen. I was only worried as on iClarified the instructions say, "Select your iPhone from the list of devices on the left. Now hold down Option and click the Restore button." Didn't want to lose anything!

2 options.
1) If you are perviously jailbroken, you should restore as new in order to eliminate any previous bugs
2) If you arent, just restore from backup and youll be fine. (I am pretty sure).

All you need to do is sync your phone before you update to the redsn0w bundle. Once it is jailbroken, sync it again. Everything should return to the way it was before.
I dunno where else to ask this.. does anyone know how to enable the iOS wifi tethering on the JB?
Someone will find a way once they can play around with the jailbreak. Give it a month.
