4-6weeks (Deliever May 13 - May 27th) pre-orders

Sport / Black / 38 & 42mm

I ordered two. Both were sport black. One was 38mm and the other 42mm. Both orders were placed by 12:06am on 4/10. Both estimate they will ship between 5/13 and 5/27.

I also ordered a 38mm sport white/blue watch after these two. It should arrive earlier, between 4/24 and 5/8.

Yep. 3 minutes after midnight ordered the stainless steel black w/ link and was already showing May 13th.

No other model except grey sport had that lead time.



Just checked the order status, same ship date from order date....guess I can play with the milanese loop for a few days while I wait - http://adam-jackson.net/blog/2015/04/14/my-apple-watch-order/

Dag gone it! I knew I ordered the wrong color! :eek:
Seriously, I don't mind waiting another 2 weeks or more for the (Sport model) color I really wanted. :)

If someone has done this I haven't found it yet. But, it would be interesting to see a break down on the models/colors with delivery dates and ordering times. I recall reading somewhere, here, how model availability has more to do with the delivery time frame you were blessed with then the speed of your nimble fingers on the keyboard or thumb/other digits on your device on the Apple Store.

Yeah, I used to feel the flame but it died out this week.
While I'm not holding out hope, for an earlier delivery, I'm happy for those who will be getting it in that first delivery window. AND, I'll be surprised and excited if it does happen (getting it early). Sometimes the best things happen when they are least expected :D

Waiting on my May order like everyone else here and hoping maybe an earlier ship date. Just made an appointment to try on the watches and the first and one I go to is the 42mm SG/black band model I ordered. Then onto a look at the milanese band. After that it'll be just play tine.:) Funny, there were no openings on the day I was to be in town where the Apple retail store is (non in Montana), but after the definitive no in store purchases was confirmed, spots opened up :eek:

Reading these posts makes it clear that the black aluminum sport 42mm had the lowest stock. Because I'm reading people ordering after 12:02 have a May delivery date.

I ordered in the UK; started trying at 7:50 am (ten minutes before it started) did not get any joy until about 8:20! I ordered an :apple:watch 42mm black sports band. I have a 12-26 may delivery, but I'm definitely going with you mate and your encouraging optimism whoop whoop!!!:D:D:D
 
The title of the thread is what I got form Apple. I ordered the Space Gray Sport 42mm model. I stayed up and got the app to work at 3:05am EDT. Tried to order but got a weird error for ApplePay and my shipping address. Took so time to whip my card out for the details. Anyone knows why some had the shipping issue with ordering with ApplePay?

Started attempting to order the Space Black Apple Watch Sport 42mm at 03:04 AM EST but got two billing-address errors. By the time it was corrected, at 03:08 AM EST, I realized it was too late for my previous 04/24-05/08 shipment estimates.

What made it worse was I completely forgot about :apple: Pay, so I was face palming for a good 15 minutes afterwards...
 
3 - 42mm SS w/ Milanese loop - 4-6 weeks
1 - 38mm Sport - 4/24-5/8

I could sail from here to Punta Arenas and back in a shorter time!

This is the first time I have had to wait past launch day to get an Apple product I had pre-ordered. I smell production problems. Which is worrisome.

Ordered within 1 minute of store coming online at 12:16 am PST.

Actually the store came online at 12:01 AM PST on the dot. You had to use the iOS apps, but it was indeed on.

You were already 15 minutes late by then.

Source: I placed my orders at 12:01 AM PST with confirmation e-mails time stamped at 12:02 AM PST

38mm Modern Buckle was never available. Always May 13th - 27th.

I ordered a 38mm Milanese for delivery 4/24 at 3:05am, but decided I liked the 42mm but I ordered the 42mm too late (3:30am eastern), so that too is May 13th - 27th

Check the email time: 3:05am. Actually, I may have placed the order at the end of 3:04am :(

Had April 24th date on 38mm, went to try on and cancelled. Got the 42mm SS with black sports band minutes before it changed to June.
