4-6weeks (Deliever May 13 - May 27th) pre-orders

Darn I now see why I don't get an confirmation email.
My email for the store was changed to @mac (Not by me far as I know). So I know changed it back to @icloud

Does that mean i get no status emails at all? Or do I get the future ones automatically on @icloud?

Somebody knows that?
 
Did my try-on appointment first at 2:15pm EDT then went home and ordered. Confirmation at 3:04pm for 38mm SS Milanese Loop for May 13 - May 27.
 
Went to sleep at 12 am EST, woke up at 2:45, got on the preorder page on the app as soon as it opened, but wasted too much time making sure my address was good... Preordered my 38mm Space Gray Sports Watch at 3:05 and got the May 14 - 27 time window... Then I wasn't able to sleep until 5:30 and woke up at 6:30 for work. The night was short.

I keep a small hope that shipping dates get pushed up to April 24 in the coming week, but if not, so be it. I already waited 8 months for it, I can wait 1 more month. Pretty excited to get that watch! :D
 
I'm pretty confident that those who ordered almost immediately will all see improvements in shipping time. A totally new product with a wide range of options; the preorders are giving apple a significant understanding of the demand on the various product lines and priorities will be adjusted accordingly. They can't move mountains, but now that demand is finally quantifiable, they can go about the business of streamlining production for the long term.

I do want to say that there's a special place in hell for those Apple fans who pre-order multiple watches knowing that they'll be returning them.

There's another thread on here about people complaining Apple canceled their Watch orders after they ordered 4. They need to get over it.

I thought Apple Watch wouldn't run out at all and wasn't even planning to order it till 24th. So I just checked it as I got up in the morning (around 6:30 am EST), and it turns out "apple going bankrupt after this product" theory was wrong again. Had to pre-order soon as I saw what happened.

Good to hear. I placed my order at 1:04am MST. I got the 42mm Black SS. Maybe I'll call tomorrow to confirm.

I got my order confirmation at 2:04 CDT so just after the app went live for me. Ordered 42mm Space Black SS with Space Black Link Band. Got 5/13 - 5/27 Status.
 
Yep, i'm in this group. Was all prepared but sneezed, which set me back a month

I think i'm 12:05

I've got to admit it was fun. Like such a surprise.

Man was that fast.

that is strange, as i received my email confirmation a minute before you lol. maybe because you're in the UK?
 
Ordered 2:30 CST silver sport with white band, 42mm. 4-6 week delivery. :(
Also ordered a 38mm sport for my lady friend and getting that on 4/24.

Maybe I'll just wear hers for a couple of weeks. ;)
 
Slept through my 11:45 alarm, woke up at 3am, and now I'm here, LOL.

SSS (stainless steel silver) with sport strap - so "SSSBSS" ?
 
i just moved someone's 42 order up.... cancelled my 42 after going to a try on appt.... had i been more detail oriented when reading the specs i would have realized it was never going to fit properly.... (apple claims a 140 smallest size and i'm a 136) while i loved the larger screen, the edges gapped and didn't fit nicely on my wrist at.all!

i will say i absolutely loved the silver aluminum version after seeing it in person. i don't like shiny, which is why i was never attracted to the stainless version (i prefer brushed).... and i don't want to wear a white strap... and i don't like any of the other colors.... and i'm not sure about the black with the silver body....

so ultimately, i'm sticking with my first thought and going with the space grey i originally ordered... hoping for some nice third party bands that i can change out when i want!
