Awesome!! I was charged on 4/22 and still processing as of this morning. Hopefully there are some updates going on or coming this afternoon.

So, I don't know if this means anything, but UPS found my order (No details, though). I haven't been charged, and I'm still in processing, but the UPS tracking wasn't there yesterday.

How did you find UPS info?

In a few threads, people have noticed that if Apple is shipping you an Apple Watch via Mail Innovations (a service handled by UPS), you can actually track your package using your contact number and order number.

Many of us have noticed that there will be a shipment created through Mail Innovations, despite the Apple Store order page showing shipping dates being all over the place.

How do I track my package if being shipped through Mail Innovations?

1.) Navigate to THIS link.

2.) Select "Track by Reference"

3.) Populate the fields as follows:

Shipment Type: Mail Innovations
Shipment Reference: Order Number (starts with W) OR Contact Phone NUmber (both worked for me, if you use your contact number do NOT include the dashes)
Shipment Date Range: Select 4/24 - today's date (you can't select a future date)

In the end, who knows how reliable the actual date range on Mail Innovations is. However, clearly the shipping date ranges on the Apple Store order page haven't been very informative nor accurate. At the very least, you can take comfort in the thought that a shipment has been created for your order.

It was on another thread that was linked on this thread.

Using my watch now, this thing is so cool!:cool:

And I concur, the sports band is so freaking comfortable.

The 42mm SS with BSB that I ordered on april 10th few minutes after pre orders started is still stuck on processing.

BUT the 38mm SS with black classic buckle I ordered yesterday with a planned delivery of june just got charged and is now preparing to ship.

It clearly is a matter of model instead of pre order date and time. Period.

well it wasn't my space gray that is shipping.. green sport model that lists ships in june! cancelled the space gray order because i only need one watch and this was my 2nd choice after space gray anyway.. im happy and excited hope it comes saturday! :D

No.. it is clearly a matter of model + preorder date and time.

But it's model first, then preorder date/time.

I think orders were definitely fulfilled on a first come first serve basis, however we're seeing that certain models were definitely allocated to certain countries before this.

For example, we can't find a single person that has the BBSS 42MM in the states, but there are a plethora of photos on Instagram in China with this model. On the flip-side, there are WBSS in the states being delivered today.

So obviously even if you ordered after the first pre-order date but chose a model that was in lower demand, but Apple allocated most of the inventory to your country, you still received one on launch day.

But You Know Me, I Can't Complain

No watch for me today (Sport 42mm Space Grey, Order Confirmation: xx:08:11am), and while I'm a little jealous of people receiving watches, I'm still in good spirits.

So to curb our temptation to get complain-y, let's remember Dom Irrera's monologue from The Big Lebowski: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlhL9Bx124I

Model first yes.

So it is far from a first come first served. You could arrive a month after everyone and get yours right away because of the model you chose.

it is like waiting in traffic for 30 minutes to take your exit and then right when it's your turn a dude gets ahead of you because he waited last minute to take the line. Frustrating isn't it?

Exactly.

It seems that each country was allocated a certain number of models, which would make sense due to differences in import policy and the likelihood for different geos to have different preferences. It certainly should not be shocking as when (for example) a new console launches, not every Target will get the same quantity of each configuration. Nor will the supply and demand for each model be equal at each store.

It seems like the queues go by...
1) Geo (US, UK, China, etc)
2) Model (SS w/ Black band, SS w/ link, etc)
3) Time (Order time at 12:01, 12:02, etc)
