My order page is back up, although now it has been updated to "Preparing for Shipment."

Again, this is a 38mm Stainless Steel with Milanese Loop. I ordered it sometime around 4:25PST (4+ hrs after pre orders began), and I'm in SoCal area.

I have an Applebee's charge on my card from over the weekend and every time I pull up the Mint app, I see that first and think it's my watch.

Only 22% of Apple Watch orders shipped during launch.

As much as I love Apple, this is poor, especially after teasing the Watch in October, then a pre-order weeks in advance only to arrive over a month late.
First of all, I'm not confident that those numbers can be relied upon as fact.

Secondly, demand was much higher than most expected. There was article after article saying that the Apple Watch would flop - and that smart watches have been around for years, but with limited adoption, even among tech nerds.

It makes sense that Apple would want to be conservative with their estimates. Customers being forced to wait a couple of weeks is a small problem in the grand scheme. However, having hundreds of thousands of products sitting in a warehouse because of lack-luster sales would be a much bigger problem.

Pre-ordered - 42mm SS Link Bracelet at 2:04am CT on 4/10
No Temp Auth, No Charge, No Pseudo Assurance email or call from Apple and it's still Processing as of 12:30pm 4/27

Whenever a UPS or Fedex truck passes by the neighborhood, I've been cursing Apple for the way they have handled this launch.

Did anyone out there order a 42mm Stone Leather Loop SS other than me?

I have yet to hear of anyone with that model anywhere...there may still be one on eBay.

Given the discussion about SG sports being very popular and that's caused delays, I'm curious as to what watches were in low demand and thus less delayed...

I dont know why people are getting so bent out of shape. Its ONLY day 3! If those numbers are correct 376,000 deliveries in 2 days seems like pretty good progress.

I think as the days go by they will start shipping out much quicker. Not till the watch is near the end of the 2 week window should people start worrying.

In my mind if they are to have sport bands ready to ship separate in May, it means they need to be up to production and on schedule for the watches first.

Okay I have a small concern:

Yesterday around 8pm I got my tracking number and apple order page changed to Shipped. Apple also sent me an email last night saying "Order Shipped, delivers Tuesday April 28th." However, today my tracking number still shows "order processed, Ready for ups". According to UPS, the order hasn't moved yet. Should I be concerned about receiving my watch tomorrow?

I wouldn't. My experiences with UPS are not good ones. I've never seen them update their shipping statuses correctly/on time.

Be concerned if you don't get it by the May 27th date you were originally given.

I wouldn't be worried. I think the entire UPS system is under a lot of stress with all the deliveries so everything isn't live lined up. Apple has done great with deliveries and I haven't heard of anything coming late post shipment

Same happened to me. Mine didn't update until late Thursday night and I received the delivery around noon on Friday.

I wouldn't be concerned.
