A. Did you come up with that one on your own? Cause I haven't read that on hear yet.

B. I don't give a crap

C. Hell no I'm not canceling my order so you can get yours quicker.

D. I will if you Stop reply to people with smart a$$ replies.

Lmao I'm going to one up this. So much truth. Funny how some people call it "crying". Maybe they have no opinions or used to sucking it up lol.

If you really wanted a watch, you could've ordered one of the 38mm versions that are still shipping in days. Or you would've paid extra on eBay.

You are not entitled to anything

I'm going to defend OP in this. Truth is, marketing is all about customer service. This is clearly lacking in this launch.

Anyways, why are people commenting here if they can't relate to OP and just flame his opinion? What good does that do? Nothing.

That's your logic? you sound like a little kid who lost his toy

You complain and complain but have no base to stand on , again no one forcing you to do anything, APPLE HASN'T CHARGED YOU DIME

Frustration....
True, when I ordered my 38mm black modern buckle I knew the delivery estimate was May 13-27...BUT
Although the modern buckle was my first choice, all the other SS configurations were June or July shipping dates, SO....the MB would ship soonest.....decision made.....

frustration comes from watching loads of people who selected a watch with June or July shipping dates....doing the happy dance for already getting their watch.....while I'm happy for them......I am frustrated

True....Apple has not missed my window....it's not even here yet....so I should have no complaints but...just doesn't sit well.....

What I find sad is that the people I saw complain the most are the same people that find something wrong with the watch once they received it. I'm only hoping that quality control has gotten better, and once I recieve my watch I hope it has no defects. Torture is watching my wife use her watch daily, and having my daughters watch sit on my bedside until her graduation. My date range is 5/13-5/27, and the other two watches I mentioned came in on day one. I guess they did the best they could, but not the best so many others wanted. Even if you think it's a failed launch the numbers appear to disagree. My 1¢.

Shouldn't Apple's priority be to get the orders out to people first who ordered the watch with the leather loop bands first?

What a joke.

My guess is the band is probably not the setback, but rather the watch itself.

Did anyone find out how much time it takes to make one watch? By the looks of the watch it seems a lot of time. Maybe that's causing the delay, it's also a completely new setup for apple. And all the details they are putting in watch it sure looks time taking. Yes I can understand people want their devices ASAP but it's not like iPhone with gorilla glass. The sapphire crystal is very hard to make in curved shape. Other watch company uses sapphire crystal but they have flat glass/sapphire face not curved. Patience is a virtue, just wait a while and get your fruit more sweeter.

Yea it's real annoying I ordered on April 10th black 38mm and still won't get it til June... Then when I heard the blue sport 38 was shipping quick I ordered that and I guess that won't come til June either. I need these to develop apps so the way I see it I'm actually losing money.

As angry as I am with Apple over an absurd 2-month wait for a 4/10 preorder, I'm becoming more and more angry each day with the people who are selling them on eBay for 700+.

And the most depressing part is that there are something like 40+ 42mm SG BSBs on there right now.

Just know, if you're one of those people - preordered to make a quick buck - depriving others of a product they actually want and will use, frankly, I hope your car catches fire, or some other expensive form of retribution that doesn't physically harm you.

EBay vultures: I'll see you in hell.

I hate it when people are late. It's such a bad business ethic. As a customer I demand and expect better. There's a bunch of Apple fanboys here who acts like its the end of the world when we talk negatively and call apple out. I guess some people are suckers and just take it. Lol weak. Not me tho. I'm not a zombie robot I have a mind of my own and I speak my mind. Haha

Entitlement? Damn right because I'm the customer. I hope apple white knights read all the complaining because it's funny how we piss them off cuz the watch is late and the whole thing is a disaster hahaha Yeeeee

And this is different than the people who wanted a specific watch model how? ;)

Are you serious?

The white iPhone 4 and black iPhone 4 are the EXACT SAME PHONE.

The Sport/SS/Edition differences create ACTUALLY DIFFERENT DEVICES, WITH DIFFERENT COMPONENTS, AT DIFFERENT PRICE RANGES.

Sorry for the caps, but I'm tired of explaining simple things to the unintelligent on these forums.

It certainly has stopped me from ever subjecting myself to the insanity of Apple's pre-orders again in the future.

True that. Screw this noise. As much as I might want to get whatever comes next from Apple, I will now know it is a lot easier to just hold off until they actually have the product available for walk in or ship within a day or two.

Previous pre-orders, iPhones and iPads, I received them all on a real launch day, not a virtual launch day that had no product available for purchase and orders online stretching out for months. I'm sorry, but that is just ridiculous.

My 6 Plus arrived on launch day. I understand that there's 400+ ways to customize a watch, the taptic engine issue..but why doesn't Tim just TELL us what the delay is all about? At this point, I'm more frustrated by the lack of communication. "Available to ship in June" is a terrible generic response.

LMAO if Apple hasn't missed your delivery window you have zero to complain about. Stop crying like little babies.

What delay?

Has your delivery window come up yet? If it hasn't, there is no delay. You're acting as if they should have every piece in stock and ready to go, when they have in fact changed that process to one that is staggered. That actually PREVENTS delays instead of causing them.

That... seems like a pretty poor conclusion to come to. I also think you're missing the point - the delivery windows are what are delayed to begin with. A delivery window 2+ months after preorder is by definition a delay. I'm not sure why this concept is so hard to grasp.

Because that isn't a delay at all. Did your iPhone come immediately after you pre-ordered it? or did you have to wait until it was delivered?

By your own definition, that is a delay. This is no different.

Sorry, but that is a pretty weak cop-out of an argument.

  1. I didn't pre-order my iPhone. I walked into a store and bought it. But that is out of the scope of this argument, IMO.
  2. If I order something, and it is available in stock, and it takes 2-3 days for it to ship, that's not really a "delay".
  3. If I order something, and it is not available in stock, and it takes 2-3 months for it to ship, that's a massive delay.

Honestly, what is even your argument here? It looks like you're just trying to argue for the sake of arguing. Apple Watches are massively delayed. Saying otherwise is at best a delusion and at worst an outright lie.

Look, I am not a believer in calling this a total failed launch, but it definitely is not a good one. Most other launches have seen either the majority or a large minority of the pre-orders get delivered on the first day. There are people who ordered in the first hour that still have not gotten their watches and won't for maybe weeks.

This is absolutely different than the situation you describe above. People are irritated that it is taking 6 weeks to get their pre-order. To simply wave that off is condescending and just plain ignorant.

My 2c: if a full month after pre-order starts, and you're still struggling to fulfill orders that were placed in the first 8 minutes, you screwed up pretty badly. End of story.

I honestly don't know how anyone can argue against that. And even if you somehow can, I honestly don't understand how anyone can forgive Apple for being almost completely silent through this.

Customers are deeply, deeply unhappy and downright angry over this disaster. Apple's brand has suffered. At least for me, I no longer look at Apple and think to myself, "boy, those guys sure are competent".

Instead, I think to myself, "holy @#4, they have well over $100 billion in cash in the bank, and they couldn't (or wouldn't) prepare more than 8 minutes worth of preorders"?

In what world is that not considered a business disaster?

ABSOLUTELY...

besides...if the excuse is that they did not expect such success..this is another failure (of their analysts)...

A. If you have no opinion on your order and let apple boss you around then I feel bad for you.

B. People who ordered are entitled to their own opinions.

C. Mines was late... LATE. People Simple as that Lulz

D. Profit was made from that late order haha

If your watch was actually deliveried after the window you were given had elapsed then you should call (or should have called) Apple and complained. Apple is usually very good about compensating for that type of thing. I got $100 back on my preordered 1st gen iPod touch because it didn't arrive on time. In the past, iPhone delayed orders have gotten cases for free. You might get money or a free sport band if you called and complained.

Yea but I don't think they are giving anything away for free as tight as the inventory is. I wish.
