40mm vs 44mm Apple Watch S4 - Which will you get?

- People (male) with 170mm or more wrist size should have no Problem with the 44mm. Even smaller wrists can fit it.

My wrist is 170mm at narrowest point if I pull the tape tight, but given the width of the strap 175mm is probably the correct measurement

MBUX is going to be pretty awesome. My wife got the W213 E63S and the double OLED displays on that are also pretty stunning, but the underlying computer is slow and has a very slight lag. Something I heard they eliminated with the latest MBUX generation. Of course both the W205 and W213 command systems are better than what's in my 911!

Ok! I exchanged the 44mm aluminum for 40mm SS...

and

.... I just ordered the 44mm SS!! The 40mm has to go back! Looks like a toy on wrist, out of proportion with my hand!

The 40mm does look small on your wrist. And since it seems you like the white sport band, that draws even more attention to how small the 40mm is on you. I think the 44mm will balance this all out. When you get a chance, post comparison pictures of your 44mm once you get it, to this picture of the 40mm.

Agreed. @Mapple86 at the bottom of the Watch it’s a bit too big. So it seems the Watch is floating over the arm a bit. But it’s ok.

44mm NO Question about it. At 58 years old, I don't need it getting smaller!

This is it for me. Smaller size better for wrist smaller screen worse for eyes.

To me, the 44 isn’t all that big. Pictures distort the way it actually fits on the wrist. The 40 looked good when I took a picture, however, it felt TINY when I tried it on and started playing with it. This was the 40. I ended up with the 44 and extremely happy with it.

I´m leaning towards updating my "series 0" stainless steel to a series 4 stainless + LTE.
I´m returning to running big time and I´m also tempted to keep the "Series 0" and get polar´s newly announced Vantage V since I´m a data freak and love to learn every little detail about my work outs....

Yeah you need the 44 SS mate. And the big display is amazing.

One of the big positives by upgrading was the bigger display. Even if the 40 looked okay I didn’t want to miss out on that

And as many state here: don’t trust the pictures. For some reason they make both sizes seem bigger than they look in the flesh

Oh boy!! The 44mm feels A LOT better!!!

And you’re right the display looks more relaxed! The 40mm displace was too cramped , and felt more toy like especially the aluminum.

Hehehe, with all this Mercedes love, I have to show a part of the roundel!!

Dont waste your time with the decission.
Even the 44mm looks too small for you.
So go with the 44mm.
The 40mm you only can consider if you want a very subtile looking watch and you dont want that people see it is a smart watch.

I keep going to Apple shops and trying them on - the big one is too big and the small one is too small. Of course, it comes down to personal preference but secretly I want a 44mm but don’t have the wrists to rock it

I ended up switching out my 40 and went with a 44.

Honestly I think it looks a little big, I wish they made a 42 still.

Curious to get peoples thoughts on the 40 vs 44 on me.
