I am a guy, wrist size about 160-165mm. What do you think, 44mm or 40mm will look perfect on me?
[doublepost=1539693891][/doublepost]
Was set on getting the 40mm since I've been rocking the 38 for three years now and always loved the feel of it, despite the screen being a bit tiny. Still would like to get a second opinion.. :)

Picture shows me wearing the 38mm S0 watch. What do you think? Too small or just fine? My wrists are 150mm. Should I change my order to the 44 or go with the 40, as planned?

Your wrist size looks to be easily 165-170mm by looking at this picture. IMO 38mm or 40mm is too small for your wrist.

Huh, you're actually right. Just measured it again and it indeed is somewhere around 160 - 165 mm. Dunno how I messed it up last time...

Anyway, thanks for the input. Will try to get my hand on a 44 and do a live comparison. :)

Ok, once my daughter is back from school, she has 44mm watch.
Great, thanks.

I'm so glad I went from the 38 mm series 3 (also series 0 before that) to the 44 mm. I originally bought silver aluminum, but really liked the 44 mm space gray better in this larger case. For some reason, the silver seemed to detract from the screen. So, I returned the silver and got the space gray. My wrist is 170 mm. I can still use my 38 mm bands, but I sold most of them on eBay so I can buy new ones.

I got the 40mm Stainless Steel Gold on launchday. I regretted not getting the 44mm and when I saw them in person, the SBSS 44mm was the nicest, so I picked that one up after checking istocknow yesterday. Drove for 5 hours (there and back) yesterday after work. Got the last one. I also tried the black link-band and i've ordered it from Apples onlinestore, getting it tomorrow, will update with pictures of that. (looks sick!)

For now: picture of my SBSS 44mm Series 4 with the boring Sport Loop.

165mm on the dot.
Even, I have a 165mm wrist. Which looks best 40mm or 44mm in your opinion, when you tried both of them?
I am using 42mm currently. Do you think I will notice a difference in size, if I go with 44mm?

Imo wrist diameter shouldn't be the only factor. Shape of wrist, arm, bone structure, hand size all affect how a watch will look on one's wrist. I'd suggest everyone to try different size watches in person before making a decision.

Barely any difference with the 42 and the 44... The 40mm is waaay too small for me and kinda looks like a toy on my wrist. I'm real tall and thin and the 44 is just perfect for me. 1,5mm bigger than 42mm and the screen feels like a giant TV in comparison. I love it. You should def go for the 44. Thank me later. ;-)

Great, input.
Even I am a 5'11 guy, slim build with fairly long hands. That's the reason I am very much inclined towards 44mm.

I'm 191cm tall and slim, long and slim arms. The 44 will suit you well, the 40 will look like you as it did on me: Like a toy. Check iStocknow and run and get a 44mm, you won't regret it. :)

The S4 looks more proportionate now that it is thinner. I tend to think thinner is an exaggeration when it comes to Apple shaving off millimeters, but it’s noticeably thinner once I saw it in person. And that became more obvious once I tried it on.

Prior to trying on the S4, I told myself to 1) skip the S4 since my 38mm S3 is still working fine, 2) do not wear any size larger than the 38mm/40mm, and 3) stick with space grey/space black. Well, after trying it on, I got weak and did the opposite of those three things. I bought the 44mm S4 silver aluminum Nike edition. The 44mm may come across as larger than the 42, but the size to thickness ratio of the 44mm is more proportionate than the chunky 42mm (I use to wear one for a year).

It's definitively on the bigger side but looks pretty good, IMO. For me it would be a bit too big I think but if you like the way it looks on your wrist, go for it. :)

I absolutely can't decide whether I should go for the 40 or 44, so I just ordered both and will do an A-B-test when they arrive in late November...
