Another :05 42mm Milanese Loop SS here, still stuck at processing :(

I guess Thursday is another day and we should see something tomorrow night

So I just check my reference number again on UPS and it just changed to "Voided Information received"?! What?! I called UPS and they said that the order was canceled by the sender. So I called apple and they said it wasn't canceled but didn't every hear about voided information. They couldn't explain it. My Apple Watch still says Preparing for Shipment. I'm freaking out a little now. I have no clue what's going on now. Not sure what to do.

Void means they are not using the shipping label they originally created- for whatever reason.

There's a ton of reasons why this could occur, even as simply as a label got damaged etc. I wouldn't worry about it.

----------

Not sure if you saw this in the other thread or not, so I thought I'd post it here. Someone has a contact at Apple (not a phone rep), and they said this information has been circulated to CSRs (which was backed up by another poster who received the same information when he called Apple):

"Okay guys and gals, I just talked to a contact at Apple (he's not a customer support person and that's the most I can say. but he did have information that was being distributed for phone support staff) he said that they have a memo in which they told their phone support employees that "having a change in your order status is not an indication that you will or will not receive your watch before those who are yet to get an order update." He went on to describe and insist "A change in order status does not indicate an April 24th delivery and the lack of a change to order status does not indicate that you will not be receiving your product at launch. On the contrary, orders are being processed differently this time around and the specifics of logistics in which bands, which models, which delivery companies, are all contributors in the timing of the status changes and will continue to be processed 24 hours a day. Orders processed today may not ship till Friday, while orders processed tonight may not ship till Monday and orders processed tomorrow may very well arrive Friday." "The process in which the orders are being scanned and attached to the product for shipment are not being based on time of order specifically. The first come first serve only applies to the delivery window, not to the time of day. All 4/24-5/8 orders, regardless of wether they were 1 minute or 4 minutes after the Site and App went live, will be processed for the same shipping windows. The determination of the products arrival will solely be based on inventory, geographic location, and delivery provider." "The fact that your order hasn't updated is irrelevant. Your shipping window is your shipping window, regardless. Orders began updating today and will continue to update. With most orders already in the process of shipment, it is a matter of being input into the system. Your devices arrival date has been determined regardless of when you receive the notification at 4:00pm or 4:00am, the outcome will be the same."

Take it with a grain of salt, but if it gives you hope...take it. :) Does help me not worry so much about the exact minute my order went through.

Actually, having worked for a major air freight carrier and having run a distribution center, this makes the most sense out of everything I've heard based on my industry knowledge and experience.

Just my 2 cents. :)

SS 42 Milanese in AZ (no applecare or extra bands)

Just got charged. Preparing for Shipment. Ordered 12:03am.

My other order of just a white sports band will probably take longer. That's why I ordered separately :D

Congratulations! :) Lots of planes moving tonight; hope to see some action on my end.

Is it possible to track my specific package or do I have to wait for Apple's tracking reports?

There are a couple of threads in the general watch forum that outline how to dig up your shipping info with FedEx and UPS. Since my shipping location is a business, I can't use them and will have to wait for official shipping information to come from Apple.

Does anyone think Apple will update order statuses overnight? Or just in the evenings (last orders will be done tomorrow night)?

Finally got my:preparing for Shipment Delivers: 4/24-5/8 by Standard Shipping

confirmation email was 3:04AM in south east Florida.

Anyone know if the updates are only when the flights arrive in Alaska, or when they get in from Alaska to Kentucky, do they update there too?

There are currently (as of 8:16pm CST) 5 flights en route from Anchorage to Louisville, hopefully all with the last watches to be updated?!

ordered 42mm milanese SS at :07 confirmation, no charge or status change yet.

Where do you go to see the info about flights?

I'm not sure why flights are so important.

They can be carrying all kinds of products, from different companies. When flights landed last night, orders did not update at that specific time.

Because among those all kinds of products are Apple products. :) And of course they don't update EXACTLY when they land, but once they're processed orders do update. People had updates overnight.

Oh, ok, then I still have hope

I was charged for my Milanese. I had a confirmation at 3:05 am. My wife's also came through but hers had been mid May delivery. Guess we'll see if they show up on Friday.

Got charged Monday afternoon, but status is still "Processing Items". I live in the bay area and got my confirmation email at 12:06.

My wife's 38mm SS white sports band on the other hand moved to "Preparing for Shipment" as soon as our card was charged. Both of our watch charges hit the card at the same time.

Has anyone been charged overnight?

Yes, other people have been charged overnight. Judging by the frequency of posts stating so, it's fewer than the afternoon. However...most people are in bed. And getting this close to the 24th, I would imagine that all companies (FedEx, UPS, other shipping companies) were paid handsomely to work around the clock. They have to in order to pull something off like this.
