42 mm SS Milanese Loop 4/24 - 5/8 batch

I'm weirdly hopeful that my order will be charged late tonight.

Then again I was hopeful it'd be here on launch day but what can you do :/
 
I'm not hopeful of anything at this point anymore. I've lost all faith in Apple with this launch. Today was the very first day since last Monday where I haven't checked my order status at all. Why is that? I'm at the acceptance stage that I may not even get mine by 5/8 so why bother as it'll only add to my disappointment. There has been zero activity with any status changes today which in itself worries me tremendously with the now known supply shortage due to the Taptic Engine issues. I wouldn't be surprised if some of us receive another EOD next week! This truly sucks!
 
Finally here!! It's worth the wait. Loved waiting with you guys.

Got mine today, :09 here.

Checked my serial # and mine was made April 16, which is interesting it took 2 weeks to get out. I wonder if they have extra product inspection going on in the wake of the haptic engine controversy?

Great watch by the way!
 
I as well got mine today from the :07 group.. Got here at noon on the dot..

Well worth the wait! I'm loving it so far!

Got mine today as well. As others have said, the frustration melts away once it actually gets here. It's easily the most beautiful thing Apple has ever made.

same same and same... Are they going to hit us all next week then? Or is the 5/8 date going to slip? I was expecting steady progress over these two weeks, but I haven't almost anything for us 42.SS.Mil orders after XX:05....

The wait was painful but it is finally here! I'm thrilled so far even though I still haven't quite figured it all out. It sure is shiny though. :)

I don't believe it is a watch issue as such, as some models are shipping within a couple of days of ordering. More likely a strap issue as the two complicated straps, Milanese and Link are both having shipping issues.

No CC charge or status change for me.

Customer Services no use at all. Just say we will see what can be done next Friday if nothing changes. A holiday in the UK on Monday makes things even worse.

I'm in the 5/13 to 5/24 range and I ordered within the first 15 minutes. It's good to see movement on your orders though. It gives me hope. :cool:
 
I was hoping to login this morning and see a lot of movement for those of you still waiting.

For those of you with the watch, are any of you having an issue with the band becoming looser the longer you wear it? When I put it on, it's pretty snug but after a while, it's noticeably looser and moving around.
 
Wow! This is absolutely unbelievable that there was absolutely NO movement what so ever yesterday and last night! I'm getting more and more annoyed with each passing day! This has been a nightmare launch IMO and I'll be hard pressed to ever do a pre-order again after this fiasco! Will I abandon :apple: products, NO, but participating in launces as an early adopter is going to be a thing of the past for me now...This launch ruined that for me!

You ordered late. Not preordering next time isn't going to do you any good.
 
Wonder if UPS will do any "Saturday deliveries" this weekend. This is a HUGE weekend in Louisville, so I'm gonna bet "nay".

This has gotten worse than I said of every other day shipping 42 SS Mil.

So if events repeat next week we will get 2-3 shipments. Stating the obvious but if orders don't process on Thursday next week then Apple has missed their first shipping window. At this point it doesn't look good.

This will have the second window (starting May 12) people getting pushed into later in May. We are a week in and instead of more watches coming through as production should be ramping up we are seeing less watches based on the forum feedback.

Do you think when Apple starts their second shipping window they'll bother with overnight shipping or just regular?

Judging by this thread, it sounds like most of the Milanese are going out. I wouldn't put them in the same category as Link. Nowhere close to th same ballpark.
 
once again....

my xx:04:50 has made zero progress. no charge... processing hell... EOD.

I've seen people in the :05, :06, :07, :08, :09 groups already receive theirs, with the same configuration... (several of whom are in my local area.)

Today included, we have five business days remaining before the confirmed 5/8 delivery can no longer be met. I will wait until then, but if it's not here on or before the 5/8 date that Apple confirmed it would, I will cancel.
