From what I've seen if it says preparing for shipment today, your watch will arrive tomorrow.
Last weekend people were getting Monday delivery notices. So I think there is hope for us.

It really feels like it's been a month since the 24th but it's only been 10 days. What's wrong with us? I guess I need a watch to get my internal clock in check. Oh, wait...
After seeing my wife and my sister and almost everyone who ordered after me getting their apple watch SS and Sport before I did
My Setup
42mm SS Milanese finally is shipped today
ordered xx:06, xx:08 email confirmation
EOD 4/22/15
In process for a long time until Today 5/3
Now: Charged, PFS, and now shipped all today 3pm
To be delivered 5/5/15
I have to say this is the worst apple product rolled out ever because my sister's May 13-27 apple watch sport received 4/29 earlier than expected. my wife;s 38mm SS WSB received 4/24, and my kid's 38mm sport WSB received 4/24. and I ordered those all after my order.
Now I don't even want the milanese loop. I planning on doing the band exchange program to get the leather loop band instead. since there are a lot of issues with milanese and it is heavier than the leather loop which does not scratch the SS case and i can lay it flat with the charger.
So, are we at some/most/all :08s shipped at this point?
Not me, still PFS...
Same here, I was charged last night at 2:38am only after noticing Apple's order page message, no email, no text or call, stating I needed to update my payment option. I manually entered it and now PO'd thinking it delayed it from moving to PFS.
Still sitting in Processing Items after a successful charge using the very card that I had set on Apple Pay.

What was the issue with the Milanese loop?
issues with Milanese Loop
1. heavier than other bands except Link bands (the heavier the band with the weight of the watch, may cause some loosening that requires readjusting throughout the day, or comes loose during sports)
4. possible rusting? (sweat/salt water = bad for steel) galvinized steel vs pure stainless steel (rust proof)? (i think the data is still out there)
Hmm.. haven't heard this one. I do read somewhere that the watch itself is scratch prone even with regular band. So it's the watch, I think, not the band.2. scratches the watch with the magnetic tip of the band when it retracts to the end close to the watch body
You sure? The charger is designed to charge the watch while it stay flat. If it's true, it's a major design flaw.3. cannot lay flat as the metal would scratch the back sensor glass (its not saphire)

I tried on both the link and the Milanese and I thought hey we're a lot lighter than similar bands on normal watches. Besides being way too expensive ($450) the link bracelet felt too light and cheaply made.
I decided to go with the Milanese and now I'm paying for it playing the "Processing" game.
