From what I've seen if it says preparing for shipment today, your watch will arrive tomorrow.

I think UPS/FedEx doesn't do pick up from the warehouse on Sunday. So pick up on Monday, deliver on Tuesday.

Unless Apple have some crazy deals with UPS/FedEx like Amazon have deal with USPS for Sunday delivery...

It really feels like it's been a month since the 24th but it's only been 10 days. What's wrong with us? I guess I need a watch to get my internal clock in check. Oh, wait...

If you count the day we put the order (04/10), then yeah it's been almost a month. ;)

Finally Shipped!!!!!!

After seeing my wife and my sister and almost everyone who ordered after me getting their apple watch SS and Sport before I did

My Setup

42mm SS Milanese finally is shipped today
ordered xx:06, xx:08 email confirmation
EOD 4/22/15
In process for a long time until Today 5/3
Now: Charged, PFS, and now shipped all today 3pm
To be delivered 5/5/15

I have to say this is the worst apple product rolled out ever because my sister's May 13-27 apple watch sport received 4/29 earlier than expected. my wife;s 38mm SS WSB received 4/24, and my kid's 38mm sport WSB received 4/24. and I ordered those all after my order.

Now I don't even want the milanese loop. I planning on doing the band exchange program to get the leather loop band instead. since there are a lot of issues with milanese and it is heavier than the leather loop which does not scratch the SS case and i can lay it flat with the charger.

Finally got the shipping email... I was at the tail end of the XX:08's ... Hopefully everyone else here is up soon!

What was the issue with the Milanese loop?

Not me, still PFS...

Same here, I was charged last night at 2:38am only after noticing Apple's order page message, no email, no text or call, stating I needed to update my payment option. I manually entered it and now PO'd thinking it delayed it from moving to PFS.
Still sitting in Processing Items after a successful charge using the very card that I had set on Apple Pay.

What was the issue with the Milanese loop?

issues with Milanese Loop
1. heavier than other bands except Link bands (the heavier the band with the weight of the watch, may cause some loosening that requires readjusting throughout the day, or comes loose during sports)
2. scratches the watch with the magnetic tip of the band when it retracts to the end close to the watch body
3. cannot lay flat as the metal would scratch the back sensor glass (its not saphire)
4. possible rusting? (sweat/salt water = bad for steel) galvinized steel vs pure stainless steel (rust proof)? (i think the data is still out there)

I specifically chose the Milanese loop for the look and day-to-day use, so I know it'll be heavy as my Tag Heuer. I also don't use my Tag for sport like basketball or swimming and usually just take it off. I don't think it'll rust if the Apple Watch is designed for exercise like running. However, I do intend to get a sports band. Having a metal "bracelet", whether it's regular watch or Apple one, is not as comfortable in active sport like Skiing.

2. scratches the watch with the magnetic tip of the band when it retracts to the end close to the watch body
Hmm.. haven't heard this one. I do read somewhere that the watch itself is scratch prone even with regular band. So it's the watch, I think, not the band.

3. cannot lay flat as the metal would scratch the back sensor glass (its not saphire)
You sure? The charger is designed to charge the watch while it stay flat. If it's true, it's a major design flaw.

i believe you can take out scratches from it from what i seen on youtube you just need to buy some mother mag aluminum polish and get a real soft cloth and it takes it right out.

Use Simichrome and a clean soft terry cloth to buff out scratches on Stainless Steel—then polish it up with a microfiber cloth.

Band weights

I tried on both the link and the Milanese and I thought hey we're a lot lighter than similar bands on normal watches. Besides being way too expensive ($450) the link bracelet felt too light and cheaply made.
I decided to go with the Milanese and now I'm paying for it playing the "Processing" game.

I had the same experience; went in wanting the Milanese, and fell in love with the black ss w/ black link bracelet. Too bad it's way too expensive.

Processing... =/
