Do y'all think that once we start getting past all of the 0-7ish order times it will start picking up pace? At this point, I do not think I will have my watch May 13, with my order time of XX:14. It seems as though there is a minority of us with order times past XX:10. I know this forum consists of only a small minority of 42mm SG orders, but does anyone see this picking up?

I have added eBay and craigslist to my "bank, apple, mac rumors" constant refresh list.

Well, they cant do it by minute every time, They will pick up and start doing it by greater number eventually. Hopefully this week will be a good week for production and they have a lot of planes coming in.

Yeah. With the pace this is going I feel as if my xx:06:29 which has a delivery window of 5/13 to 5/27 isn't actually go to get here until the later part of May.

Honestly, I bet it ships by the end of this week.

Based on the data I've collected, I think the majority of 42mm SGS (in the US) hit between XX:05/XX:06 and XX:10. (Accounting for the fact that most "hardcores" used the Apple Store App to place their order in the first 3 minutes, while the majority of others used the website, which didn't come up until almost 3 minutes after preorders opened, and assuming it took 2-3 minutes for those first website people to submit their orders.) I think by the end of this week, we will be up to the XX:07-XX:08 orders (at least), and will probably finish out the bulk of preorders by the middle of next week.

You should start seeing the times of preorders start to move a lot faster after this week. So, XX:11-XX:20 people, I think you ship next week, easy.

It was just labor day in China, production will ramp up again soon.

It's also "golden week" in Japan, with holidays on May 3-5. "Taptic engines" are reportedly now exclusively made by a Japanese supplier, so this may also slow things down a bit.

very optimistic! I'm just wondering when we'll be able to get to the 4/11 and 4/12 pre-orders ;) I ordered my 42mm Space Gray (the one I know I'll want to keep) on 4/12 :( That June "date" is looking realistic and oh so far away!

It took 9 days to get through 5 mins worth of orders. Without some massive improvement in the process I can't imagine how long it will take them to get to orders placed 24-48 hours into the preorders...????

It is probably safe to say that there was an obvious rush of orders in the first several moments of preorders, as we are seeing. While orders have undoubtedly come in since that time, it is also probably a safe assumption that orders after that initial wave have been coming in at a much slower pace.

I think once that initial logjam is cleared, you will see orders progressing much more quickly.

There is only two planes going to Anchorage as of right now, last week there was 7 on the way starting on Monday.

agreed. I'd love to see a graph of the amount of time between orders for the 42mm Sport SG. Right off the bat, the time between orders is sub-second... once we get to 4/11, I'm sure there's at least a minute or two (or maybe hours by then) between orders for this watch.

I'm at 3:12:57 am, and like some others here, have little hope of seeing my watch anytime soon.

I agree, logic dictates that as we get past the initial rush, there will be fewer orders per minute/hour made, and we should see them moving past the various thresholds more quickly. Unfortunately, that needle seems to be a moving target as each time frame comes and goes and the fulfillment speed, if anything, seems to slow rather than increase.

Um... which store?

Apple Store at Green Hills mall in Nashville. So, if it is taking Apple 9 days to get through 5 minutes of orders, and I ordered 2 days later, I'm looking at a bit over 5,000 day waiting game here or just over 14 years. Do you think that Apple would allow me to parlay this preorder to an Apple Watch 7s?
