So probably will get some hate for this, but Ive been following along in the SSSB thread as well. I really liked that model, but for a 1st generation, I didn't know if I could justify paying that much for it, especially considering I've never really worn a watch before.

It's a beautiful watch, but quite a lot of dough. I can't even bring myself to spend $800 (after tax and Apple Care) on a SS Leather Loop.

But my issue is that I'm not coming into this as a watch guy. My wrist has been bare for 20 years.

I have a feeling the SGS will make me a watch guy again. Then at that point I will start to see the value in getting a higher end one. But not yet.

The watch that has yet to be delivered to me today was manufactured week 18 via the german chipmunk site.
Thanks. Was just curious what the last week of April production was. Mine was manufactured week 17, and was delivered a week ago today, so makes sense that they are one week later now.

Figured I'd post for what looks to be the final part of my wait if there's any sort of decent wave tonight.

FYI

5 planes scheduled to land in Louisville tonight. Contact at UPS says at least 3 of them have a high quantity of apple products "he can tell based on serial numbers on the manifest" so expect a big wave tonight.

This guy has been pimping for followers hard the last few weeks. Maybe if we all followed him he would stop.

His "contacts" have not been very conclusively correct........and he has been called out several times for this very fact, and his eagerness to gain fictitious followers as well.

I decided the SGS was the next closest thing and way better priced for not knowing how it was going to be and all.

After watching this video and having all this time to hear about how good things seem with the watch, I'm having thoughts about getting it. I mean, check out how good it looks in this video.

Hopefully a good black metal link bracelet comes along to match this quality for the SGS. I must say I'm glad I cancelled my order for the Monowear bracelet.

Why you cancel the Monowear order? I had been looking at those on Amazon as well. But today when I went there.....either they are out of stock, or have closed up shop. Their website is still up though...

Just curious, because I liked the idea of their link bracelet at a huge cost savings!

I received a warning from a moderator about my spreadsheet being considered "solicitation". LOL

Wha? The only reason I could see that would be the Tumblr link, but never would have crossed my mind. Your spreadsheet is a valuable service, I think.

Now, the dude that keeps spamming us to follow his stupid Twitter ... that's solicitation.
