Well I guess congrats.. Seriously though.. This is why everyone including myself is getting aggravated..

I totally understand! Reading other posts about someone in UK ordering on 04/11 and receiving it on launch was annoying! Was expecting delivery in May...Must be a Canadian thing!

Man I really wish I could just not care about this and just accept that I will get it when I get it, cause then I wouldn't be on here and see people who ordered more than 5 minutes after me getting there watch charged and shipped. Does apple just have hat that they pull order numbers out of.

What would cause another big wave? Wouldn't the trickles be the ones coming right off the production line? Are they stocking them up and then releasing a ton at once?

I don't think we'll see another wave the size of the first. But I expect there are batches that get made, then flown, then sorted in a shipping hub, then shipped out. Call it "mini waves".

But who knows. We are all just guessing. In general I'm just saying that a few days of relative quietness does not surprise me.

Hi all. I'll join the fray.

XX:07:54
42 MM SG Sport in NC

Just got charged for Apple Care this afternoon.

No charges for the watch itself though.

Im not talking about how many they are shippign out. I am talking about the fact that they are all out of order now. And it doesn't seem to be location based I have seen people in the same city as me with a later confirmation number get charged and shipped and I am still waiting. Last week it seemed to be much more in order.

Problem is we don't have enough data to really know. Confirmation email timestamp is an approximation. Based on calls people have made to Apple, their system can show something different if it took a few minutes to finish processing the order. Also we don't know how Apple is dividing up the regions, how the shipping channels work, where exactly the watches are coming from, etc. And only a small percent of customers track their progress daily and report it on these forums, the most vocal being those who haven't received it yet.

I can say based on browsing these forums since launch that, for the most part, Apple does appear to be following a pretty tight order based on the confirmation email times people are reporting. Not exact, but generally within a minute or two. There are outliers, but doesn't seem like that many in the grand scheme of things.

I agree. There seems to be some piece of the puzzle that we don't have explaining the outliers. But by and large SG shipments seem to be following confirmation time.

I have not seen a lot of confirmations that are xx:07, xx:08, and xx:09.. Do you think it is reasonable that the majority of people who stayed up to pre order had them all in within the first 6 minutes, and that minute 7, 8 and 9 will see activity quicker than it took to get through the first 6 minutes?

One can only hope.

That is what I am hoping for. I have a xx:09 time. For a while though, I was saddened to admit it because it put me further back in the line, maybe others are the same?
