My watch arrived in my city this morning at 5:58. I called a person I know that owns a UPS store to see if I could just go and pick it up. :( nope! It is in a container with a million other boxes that won't be opened until they get ready to put them all on a truck for Tuesday's deliveries. I guess I waited this long... But why why why does it have to be on a long weekend. Lol

Pending charge on my CC since about 1 p.m. yesterday, but store still shows processing. Guessing I won't get it until Wednesday next week now.

After CC charged TH afternoon, I finally received an email with tracking on FRI. Delivery set for TUES 26th!
F. Yes.
Which, for all the whining about Apple over promising, under delivering... The 26th is earlier than I was lead to expect. So while quite the mess, they actually under promised and over delivered.
Just sayin'.

They (BIG :apple:) still over promised and under delivered because you should have had your watch by or close to launch day if you preordered it on 10 April.

Apple never promised that. When I ordered my watch five hours post launch, it said it would be delivered in June. Then it changed to May 29 - June 11.

Just because you think it should have been here at that time, doesn't make it a promise. I'm as disappointed as anyone that I don't have my watch yet. But, it's incorrect to say Apple promised something they didn't.

I have to agree with you. EARLY 2015 is what they said now it is mid 2015 and they still don't have their stuff together. It's so annoying.

Sorry, I am just feeling fustrated about the whole thing. Again, sorry.

I would appreciate an update from apple reinforcing that they mean it when they say May 29 - June 11 . That is the erosion of trust being faced by people including me. But I guess they will deliver !!!

Umm no they didn't.
And "should" has nothing to do with anything. Completely irrelevant.

Sure, the wait was excruciating as waiting for a cutting edge tech device can be. But at no point did Apple tell me my order would arrive any sooner than the 26th. Ahead of completing my order back in April 10th, I saw the June estimated ship date. Suprised, but that was my option. So I continued on and submitted my order. Along the way, they were able to improve my June estimate with a May 29-June 11 window. And in the end, they will beat the earliest possible estimate I saw by 3 days.

Anyway, looking forward to Tuesday.

CAN PEOPLE WITH WATCHES STOP TELLING PEOPLE WITHOUT WATCHES HOW TO FEEL. THANK YOU. AND Should is very relevant. Smh. Pompous pretentious apple people smh.

Ordered launch day around 45min into pre orders, watch shipped Wed and arrived May 22nd. Spent few hours with Apple Support today troubleshooting a maps issue which has just been fixed.

Location : Toronto, Canada

Just looking at the Apple Store now. It seems that if someone places an order today, they will supposedly get it in 4-5 weeks, which is when those of us who ordered at the end of April expect to get ours, and maybe even those who ordered earlier than me. Unless available to ship in 4-5 weeks means something different.

I was reading all the map issues earlier in another thread. How did it get resolved for you?

Well no plane tonight from Shenzen, so I guess we wait for tomorrow.

It looks like there are 6 planes arriving in Louisville tonight and tomorrow morning.

Are you saying because it didn't come from Shenzen that's it not watches?

Mine is en route for delivery on May 26. It's shipping origin, Ontario, California. Didn't come directly from China, was already stateside.

Don't want to start a new thread about this, but has anyone else had trouble logging into their Apple orders page this morning?

"We're sorry. Something went wrong with your request. Please try again later."

Yes, I'm having the same thing. It happens for a few hours each week — always around the same time, very early on Sunday morning — so I assume it's routine maintenance.

Now this "We're sorry, but our Order Status services are extremely busy right now. Please try again later."

I thought it was a positive sign, but if it happens every week...

My delivery date window begins 27th May. With no movement beyond processing, I am doubtful of receiving my AW next week now...

Serial number for my watch being delivered on the 26th just showed up in my Apple support profile.

Running the serial through the decoder, shows the watch was manufactured in Production Week: 20 (May), which was just this past week.

I believe it has been decided that that is the airport they ship out of. Although as any good psychologist or mathematician will tell you, correlation does not equal causation, but we have not seen any new waves in two days and we have also not seen any flights leave Shenzen in two days. UPS is about to have two planes leaving there this afternoon, so we will see.

How do you run your serial number to find out when it was made

Never mind I figured it out and mine is about to be delivered on the 26th and it was made the 20th week which I looked that up and it was made between the 11th to the 17th of May and it was charged and started shipping to me on the 21st so they really are pretty much shipping them as soon as they make them
