That is a nice price. Just wish the case wasn’t so plasticky. Not $1199, but close enough considering tariffs. This bodes well for the LG.![]()
If only someone could get near Apple finish without Apple prices.

han the Kuycon could be your choice. The 6K Kuycon G32P costs ~$1799-1899+VAT
On the subject of the 6K Kuycon G32P: The monitor certainly won't work miracles, but let me put it this way... I still use my 5K Dell UP2715k, which I bought in 2015 (back then for €1000), every day. Next to it are my two Apple Studio Displays, which I've had for 3 and 2 years and for which I paid €1,950 and €1,715.Still better than what we'd pay for a 6K Apple screen it must be said. I do like the Apple 6K screen but not enough to give them my money for one (or two of them). So I have a couple of 5K screens, one Apple Studio 5K and the LG 5K.
I just did a double take, I've seen similarities but wow!![]()
It has a page on the ASUS global site, and the English User Guide is available to download. But it isn’t yet on the US or other regional sites. The panel is different from the 5K and the 6K. It has a 4,032-zone Mini-LED backlight, and true 10-bit color. What happened to the 8k monitor?
Nice. No price yet though.According to this website -> https://stadt-bremerhaven.de/lg-ultrafine-6k-monitor-modell-32u990a-startet-im-september/ , the 6K LG will launch in September 2025 for the European market!
1440 EUR in Poland, though.US$1399 is €1197.36. Add 22% VAT and that’s €1460.77, so in that context the Italian price isn’t comparatively that bad.
I can’t find Canadian pricing on it though.
$1400 for US.Well, B&H Preorders are up, but I'm disappointed that there is no ETA on them actually having any product...
It looks to me asus paid Oliur to get this review, he only mentioned 6k and 600 nit, and then brainwash you "60hz is enough" repeatedly. No side by side comparison, no actual picture testing, no moving picture testing, etc. From the same Youtuber who reviewed the 32" 6K Kuycon:
I thought the same. this was a very lazy review. His Kuycon review was much better. It would have also been an obvious topic to compare the Asus with the Kuycon but he doesn't.It looks to me asus paid Oliur to get this review, he only mentioned 6k and 600 nit, and then brainwash you "60hz is enough" repeatedly. Especially since it’s a different panel, from a different manufacturer (probably AUO M315WAN01.0 CELL), so the differences with regard to the LG Display panels in the Kuycon and Dell might be interesting. I know AUO has its own version of the high-contrast “IPS Black” technology, and these two ProArt panels likely are that.I thought the same. this was a very lazy review. If you live in a big-city area, you can try your luck with Facebook Marketplace and only do an in-person payment / meetup. That is less useful in a smaller area obviously as the number of people seeking a 27" 5k monitor is pretty small.I am going to wait until so real world reviews come in, but I may try and upgrade from the 27” 5k monitor. A bigger monitor would look better in my setup, as long as the hdmi 4K from video game consoles still works fine on the 6k setup.
If I do, should I just put older 27”on eBay, but I would hate to get scammed. Is there a better place that will outright quote and buy a used monitor?
Possible to havé very short summaries ? ☺️For anyone interested in non-english video reviews out for the Asus ProArt 32" 6K monitors here are ChatGPT generated subtitle tracks for these two. Remove the .txt extension, download the youtube videos and then play them in something like VLC where you can add a subtitle track.
