Picked up a space gray in store since my credit card company bungled my silver pre-order by flagging it as fraudulent.

Kind of regretting it now - the silver just looks so cool. I'd only exchange it if I can get the same woman who sold me this phone, though. I'm afraid they'll pull her commission, otherwise.

I ordered the gold after seeing the other two colors. My last phone was black and I just wouldn't want a space gray if it actually looks like it does. It reminds me of that old 1984 Apple commercial about different colors. It looks like a bland gray to me.

I like the white front of the gold version as well.

I never planned on getting a 5s, just was driving by AT&T and saw there was a very short line so I stopped and I got the last iPhone 5s they had.......the space grey or whatever its called 64gb. I was happy though, I know a lot of people wanted the gold color to distinguish it, but honestly to me that just seems like a good way for a thief to pick you out and rob you of your stuff........so far so good though.

If it was a carrier store like AT&T or Verizon then you're fine because their bonuses are paid on a scale for the plans, not the devices sold. If its Apple, I dunno if its changed at all recently, but my friend worked there from probably 2009 to 2012 before moving into more of an office role out of state for Apple and he never got a bonus from selling iPhones..........for him iPhone releases just meant long hours, impatient people, headaches finding parking.

Just got back from my local apple store to get the new iphone leather case (which is awsome on my 5 by the way). I got the chance to check out the phones and I have to say indoors the the gold was so light in tone it was almost hard to tell it apart from the silver and white to be honest. Its a beautiful phone though, with that said the space grey is VERY handsome in store, very elegant in a masculine Aston Martin way....

Got the Space Grey and could not see me going back to white. I love the way the screen just blends in.

Space Grey wasn't my first choice, but now I'm quite happy with it. You have a point about the attractiveness of the screen. I've never had a white phone, so it was nice to hear from a former white phone owner who switched to the Space Grey.

Funny - I have always been a supporter of white Apple products. My first iPhone was a black 4 and I had a white 4S and 5. To me, the white iPhone stands out as an Apple phone - it's different than the other black phones (which I used to find 'boring'). HOWEVER, I recently bought a black car and I had various problems with my white iPhones having 'warmer tint' than my siblings' black iPhones. So I said I'd go back to black this time. Now, I don't know if I can see myself going white again. I *LOVE* the look of the white phone - but the black iPhone is just easier on the eyes. The bezel on the white got a bit distracting at times, and I just feel more 'submerged' into the iPhone when it has no distractions. Sorta like with TVs. It's why they ALL have a black bezel.

I do still like white Apple products though and I can see the appeal haha. It makes it so hard every time a new iPhone comes out ... but hey, the black fits my car and my accessories, my MBP, etc.

I can relate; it's the opposite for me, I've always only had black iPhones but I recently bought a White car so I went for the White/Gold :) So sexy.

Just stopped out at one of our larger Apple stores and saw the new phones for the first time. Just a couple observations
1. Tons of interest in the Gold 5S. I can see why after seeing it in person. I was (am) pretty tempted!
2. No one looked at the 5C. I handled these a little, and thought they were really nice. Very nice feel to them.

the more I see the gold phone

the more I like it. While I am not upgrading, I have what is the silver iPhone (the white iPhone 5).

Looking at the gold it is very subtle, nice. Since I prefer silver I'm kind of surprised at how much I like the gold version. It's not as bling oriented as I thought it would be. If I was upgrading now, I'd go for the gold.

I got my grey version last Friday (and seem to be one if the few who had a choice of all colours and all capacities, I was around 16 or 17 in my queue).

I still have zero regrets at the colour I chose.

My only regret was not buying a gold one as well and selling it to subsidise my own one ;).

I returned the Space Grey for Silver/White and feel like I have a girls phone... Dont get me wrong...I love the classic look...drive white car with cinnamon interior....watch is silver, wedding band is platinum/silver.....just feels like it's a girls phone....thoughts?

I always tell people go with your gut. Do you still really want the phone even in spite of the 'girly' feeling? Or do you want your space grey one back?

Personally, I know guys who use the white one and I don't see a problem with it. :p
