Yea, I noticed that. Fit in my shorts pocket fine but it did take up the whole pocket. I did also go for a bike ride and part of it was exposed but it never moved. But if I go for a bike ride for a few hours I'll bring a bag. So I'll probably keep it there. Screen size is nice!

Get a case, either the Apple silicone or the tech21 as either offers much better grip and makes it much easier to handle this beast! :)

Get both. I did. You just return one you don't want. Apple has extended returns to Jan 8. Because of the holidays.

I don't want the hassle of returning one of them during the holidays even with the extension to Jan. 8th. I'm making the purchase tomorrow. I've decided on a Gold 6 64GB T-Mobile iPhone. So far, they have it available. I'm going first thing in the morning. I'm excited. And this better be "unlocked" because I'll be using an ATT sim on this T-Mobile phone.

I'll be purchasing it in full, so I'll ask if it qualifies for a return exchange through Jan. 8th in case.

6+ ended up being too large for me. 6 is just about perfect for me.

Don't get me wrong the 6+ was a really nice phone especially the battery. However once the honeymoon wore off I found its size to be more of an annoyance then a benefit.

My body size, my usage and active lifestyle just can't tolerate the 6+'s size when I'm not using it which is the majority of the time.

I've thought about it, but i haven't used a case in a long time. i like how the phone feels without it

You can return it so no risk. I do not like cases much myself but this beast is a different animal. :)

Plus you have an added benefit of some protection and much less chance of fumbling it like I was doing when I first got the Plus.

I'm a proud owner of a Gold 6+ 64GB. $1024.41 was hard to swallow. :p

I originally wanted a 6+ at launch. When I saw it on display a week later, I said, "6" 6+ too big. Then today, I expected walking out with a 6 and left with a 6+. I have until Jan. 8th. for a refund and/or exchange. I think it was the flexibility of the return date that made me try the 6+. I hope it's a keeper.

isn't that the price of a 128gb phone? my 64gb 6 plus was just over $900

i have a 5s now. and i'm still not sure.

plus side for the plus (lol):
landscape mode for home screen, iPad like view for mail and texts

cons for me:
a little big, i might drop it trying to use it one handed while walking, or since i bike ride just taking it out to check something quick.
battery life? (i can get 2 days out of my 5s no problem)

normal 6 pros:
fits in pocket easier, can use easier one handed
$100 less

cons for me:
no landscape like the plus
optical image stabilization would be nice although i don't know how much i would use it really.

the screen is great on both. since they're obviously bigger than the 5s i've been using for over a year.

thanks.

I just got my 6+ a few hours ago. I thought I was leaving the Apple Store with a 6, but the guy said, I had until Jan. 8th. to return or exchange, so I left with what I originally wanted prior to the iPhones released. I'm coming from a 4S and 5S. Does this photo help? The size seems fine.
5S & 6+.jpg

I had the plus for about 2 months, switched to the 6 and I enjoy it more for the simple fact that I can use it with one hand. It does feel tiny after using the plus, but its whatever. Now I just need to sell my plus. Too many scammers on eBay.

This price, $1024.41 included $99 Apple Care and 9% tax. I can't believe I spent this much. It's so expensive.

You think you're going to keep it - 6+? Or are you still contemplating on the 6?

i'm going to keep it, the battery life has been awesome. when i got it it was at 70%. i just set it up normal without a backup, just logged into iCloud so i could get my contacts and downloaded fb. used it for an hour while i was out. I went home and restored from my last iCloud back up, and i didn't charge it till the next day. i didn't use it that much the next day because i was working. but now its at 80% with 2hrs 34min usage and 19hrs 16min standby.

the size isn't nothing i can't get used to. the screen and battery life is worth it.

I might keep mind too. I'm not feeling any indifferent about the size. I'm so glad I received one without any scratches or bends as some have experienced. This will have to last me until the 7S.

Every time I play around with a friends Plus I am reminded why I didn't go for it. It's a lovely device to use and the big screen is welcome for Internet based tasks, but as a phone and a device to carry around daily, for me it is far too big. As somebody said earlier you really have to consider what sort of case you are going to use. I have a Spigen slim armor on my 6 and that adds to the size. I wouldn't want a phone bigger than that and to be honest some of my jeans don't have enough room for a Plus. I was chatting about this at our works christmas do and a colleagues Plus would only fit in my jeans pocket sideways. Obviously that increases the risk of bending too. It's hard enough choosing clothes at the best of times and I wouldn't want the extra consideration of worrying if my phone fits or not.

If the size isn't an issue, go for the Plus. The hardware benefits are minimal so size really is the only factor to consider IMO. The optical image stabilisation is a nice addition, but having taken photos in low light with the 6, it's not hard to limit blur with a steady hand anyway. If you want to combine a mobile with an iPad then the Plus is the way to go. If you want a portable smartphone then the trimmed down 6 is the other option.

6 or 6plus? undecided

To the 6+ users: how do you carry it around outside of your house NOT using your front pockets? Backpocket? Bag? Hand? Bc my front pockets would be to small for it.

I've yet to see how I would carry it around. I just got my 6+ early this evening. I do plan on getting that silicone Apple case though. It's true about it being a bit slippery.

Jacket inside pocket here in the UK. At the height of summer when I ditch the jacket, out comes my manbag.

Does it fit your hands, lifestyle, usage, and expectations for user experience.

That's really how you'll find your answer.

I could tell you 6+ but be totally wrong because it won't fit how you live with smartphones.

This is how a carry my 6plus (even with my 5s so the size of the plus doesn't bother me a bit). With a jacket it's inside my pocket. Without a jacket a carry it with my hand. If I need to hold onto something or if I need to use my hand to do a task I will put my plus n my pants pocket then will hold it again when done. Never had a bag but I do have a wool sleeve that I made for it. If I do need to sit down and its in my pocket I make sure that I pull it out and put in a table/desk.

I've had a 6 since launch day.

Ipaid full price for a 6 Plus Friday and am giving my 6 to my sister (I'll take her 5Sand sell it, she just doesn't know it yet)

I was happy with the 6, I'm happier with the size and camera of the Plus.

Your mileage may vary

You get use to the size of the plus...that's not an issue. The battery life alone is enough reason to choose it over the regular 6. Battery life is phenomenol.
