This is how a carry my 6plus (even with my 5s so the size of the plus doesn't bother me a bit). With a jacket it's inside my pocket. Without a jacket a carry it with my hand. If I need to hold onto something or if I need to use my hand to do a task I will put my plus n my pants pocket then will hold it again when done. Never had a bag but I do have a wool sleeve that I made for it. If I do need to sit down and its in my pocket I make sure that I pull it out and put in a table/desk.

sweet fancy moses that sounds awful.

yeah, may sounds awful but i can live with it. the price you have to pay with a plus. but hey, i've been doing this even with my 5S. i never ever put the 5S in my pocket permanently (meaning even when i am sitting down). my pocket is just a temporary place holder when i am walking/standing up with nowhere to put my iphone. i got used to it and when i got my plus, it's a smooth transition.

What a nice bother you are. Anything else you can hock and sell of hers?:p

Well since I have her the 5S last year because her 4 would barely hold a charge and had a busted screen but she'd been using it for 2 years that way (and it was my old phone too).
She doesn't have a good job and has a disabled child so most anything she gets nice comes from me anyway.

I went 6+ > 6 > 6+ >6 and now I've landed on the 6+ again.

The 6+ is the way to go. I love the screen size for playing some casual games, banking or web browsing when I'm away from my computer. I'm also at the point that with the 6+ I don't think I need an iPad anymore. I find myself grabbing my + over the iPad.

When you compare the two side by side there's no contest. The 6+ has a far nicer screen and camera. I loved my 5S but the only reason I got rid of mine was due to how small it was. Now that we have an iPhone over 5" there's no other reason to look at a different phone. I am so happy with my 6 Plus I can't describe it. :D

Hey, I think my McRumors account has been hacked. Someone is using my account to comment. This is the 2nd notification from someone like yourself where I don't recall making that sort of comment.

6 for better fit in hand, pocket ability, cheaper.

6 plus for INSANE battery life and more screen real estate.

As more and more Apple enthusiasts are exposed to the normal size of iPhone 6 series, they realize how limiting the tiny iPhones of the past were for anything other than limited use. In fact that's already being proven by the record setting iPhone 6 & 6 Plus sales.

In turn it's likely that iPad sales will continue to shrink as they become less relevant for general use. After depriving loyal iPhone users of the popular size displays for nearly three years, the pent up demand also worked in Apple's favour. A very clever company, Apple knows exactly what they can get away with. Brilliant strategy.

were you comparing the 6 with 6 Plus or with your old 5S? The camera is exactly the same on the 6 and 6 Plus apart from the addition of OIS on the Plus. They will take identical pictures unless you have a shaky hand in dim light. The screen has a higher pixel count on the 6 Plus but the contrast ratio is better on the 6. I think they are pretty much equal when the pro's and con's of both are considered and the only deciding factor for me when I had the choice to buy was the physical size of the device. :)

I just hope they don't stop making iPads because they think if people want an iPad they will just buy the Plus instead. It would be an expensive hobby buying a 4.7" iPhone and then buying a 5.5" iPhone to use as an iPad with no sim card in it.

Well I did compare the 6 and 6+ in store when I made my purchase and I feel some of the things I mentioned still apply. The 6's screen was obviously running at a lower resolution and with the extra hardware on the 6+ camera, doesn't that make it better by default? Other than that it comes down to the size of the two devices and coming from the Galaxy S5 (and the 5S before that) I wanted something a little more.

I was just pointing out that the camera is the same on both phones and if you compared photo's side by side, you would not be able to tell which phone took which picture. The OIS on the 6 Plus is obviously a bonus but having edited photo's from a wedding a few weeks back I handled photo's from both phone's in low light conditions and I couldn't tell the difference. A steady hand and digital IS will counteract the lack of OIS on a standard 6 in my experience. Having said that if any of these points make the owner of a 6 or 6 Plus feel better about their choice then all the power to them! :)

I use the phone function more than anything else, however, when I have to do some quick work-related tasks through my company's site, I enjoy having the screen size for it, therefore 6+ for me. I don't ever walk while viewing the screen; I'm usually seated.
