Since I turned off backgrounding on certain apps and killed Facebook, my battery doesn't want to die. Granted I haven't played games our steamed much video but this is still amazing.

Facebook detects your location all the time even when you're just reading other's posts. Disable location services and background app refresh for Facebook can save a lot of battery life.

loving the battery on the 6+, what a beast, 1hr of usage and only down to 97% this morn:

The battery on my 6+ is excellent. Have not yet drained the battery to 0 from a normal day's usage.

Just plugged in after being off charger since 7am, still puzzled by the amount of battery that Facebook uses. Is this typical or do I just use FB way too much?

Amazing. I would ensure you are restricting your location etc to the app. Or switch to the mobile webpage.

Well, my Facebook location services are set to While Using the App and today my Facebook battery usage is even worse than in the screen shot I posted. I do use Facebook a lot because I manage several pages, it's strange how much it actually uses though.

Facebook never knew how to write a good app. It has always been awful.

I'm at home on my wifi. The usage and standby with 98% of my battery left and brightness around 50% confuses the heck out of me.

6 Plus battery life: excellent

This doesn't seem normal. I don't have background refresh on and turned off a lot of things. Does this seem normal. Unplugged at 9:15 and its 3:18 nowImageUploadedByTapatalk1413663587.459663.jpg

How does this stack up

Seems normal if you don't have auto-brightness enabled and you leave it cranked to max brightness. The backlight is the biggest killer of battery.

Normal to me. Again, auto-brightness is your friend, - or at the very least crank the brightness down some.

6 Plus battery life: excellent

I have it off. Only have it half way. How does it only give me 4 hours or 5 hours of usage in half a day. I'm already in 22%
