Too big to watch movies, too big to read books, too big to browse websites, too big to use as the car's GPS, too big to play games, too big to... ?

But no, 'it's too big' because you have to occasionally use your other hand? :D

It's a phablet. If you want a phone, you buy one for $50

I think some of us (me included) are natural one handed phone users while some of us (my son) are two handed users. No way I'd get the big phone.

It may be too big for some, but not all.

I had the nokia 1520 for a couple of weeks. Was it huge? yes? But I dealt with it and enjoy the large screen. I hated the windows OS though...so I sold it.

As a note, the nokia 1520 is larger than the iPhone 6 plus.

I'm loving my plus at the moment. No regrets. At times I do get that feeling of awkwardness with one handed use, but I bought it expecting to adjust my habit using this phone, now it's second nature. The extra screen estate has been amazing especially for browsing the Web.

So my pre-orders for the 6 and 6 Plus 64GB both arrived today.. and I am glad I bought both.

I demo'd a Galaxy Note 3 and thought I would be okay with the 6 Plus, but I find it's just too heavy and too large to be able to use at the same speed and comfort that I can use my 5 at.

With the 6, I can reach the edges of the screen fine, and it's not noticeably heavier than my 5. With the 6 Plus, it's considerably heavier, and impossible to reach all buttons without overstretching or using another hand - to the point where after 10 minutes of use I found it uncomfortable and sore.

I'm going to be putting my 6 Plus on eBay I think. I really LOVE the screen and camera, and the battery life enhancements are what encouraged me to buy the 6 Plus in the first place, but I don't think I can deal with this!

Anybody else care to share their opinion?

Thats great news for me! I don't like when phones get too light, they feel cheap when they are light. Thats one reason I returned my Moto Atrix it was WAY TOO LIGHT, didn't like it at all. Im going to really be happy with the 6+ now! :D

I have no problem with it at all. I don't get why people said it was slippery or not a one hand device in their reviews. I can easily use this with one hand and it's not too big.

The only thought I have had about size today is when i picked up my iP5S after half an hour on the 6+ and my first thought was 'god damn this thing is tiny!'

That's how I felt about my iPhone 5 when I got my Galaxy S4.

Guys, the fact is you just can not realistically use the 6 Plus one-handed. Once you accept that fact and move on to treating it as the 2-handed "iPad Nano" device that it is, you'll be fine. Otherwise, return it for a 6.

You can't do everything one handed, but it's perfectly possible to type one handed (but not for extended periods is imagine!)

It's a lot easier to get addicted to a "one-handed" phone than a larger 5.5" phablet.

Its fascinating the difference of opinions on the 6+.

With all the people saying its massive i was beginning to wonder if the pdf cutouts were the right size, however i've received my case and it looks like they were spot on.

I'm 6ft4 but never thought i had particularly big hands, it looks like one-handed i can reach all the way across and the bottom 2/3 of the screen, so i guess they must be fairly big...

6+ coming later today, can't wait!

I have fairly large hands (i guess?), and the cut outs were the correct size. But when you factor in weight and thickness, it is completely different.

I agree. Of course the 6 will feel more comfortable. We're used to the smaller-screened iPhones.

The Plus will require an adjustment period, but I think it will be worth it for the added benefits it brings.

As almost every "professional" review has stated, initially the iPhone 6 Plus felt enormous, but after normal, everyday usage for about a week, almost every reviewer that I read said that they found themselves getting used to and preferring the 6 Plus.

Have had no interest in the 6, or 6+ since hearing what size they were going to be...

Went into a store today just to check it out... Actually have no idea whether it was the 6 or + that I held, but it was ludicrously large for a mobile phone - more like a mini tablet. No way I'd want that in my pocket.

If the size of the phone itself isn't too big for you to comfortable hold, I have one word. Reachability. It's been a great help to me.

Well this is why we have choices, as long as you're happy with what you got, that's all that matters. The only way I'm giving up my 6+ is if you pry it out of my cold dead hands lol.... Not jk

Over dramatic look at me thread title that we've come to expect here in MR over the last week: "It's TOO BIG".

Genuine/realistic thread title: "6 Plus was too big for me, went with 6"

Either way, you've got a great new phone, enjoy it. ;)

I don't understand why people keep posting these threads. Congratulations, your phone is too big for you. Apparently it's too big for the authors of countless other threads as well.

Well **** me - sorry my thread title wasn't formatted in such a way as to please you.

I had a note 3 for a year and loved it. You really adapt to and get used to the screen and I personally loved it. Everything just looked better... From surfing to videos to reading.

As long as the 6+ doesn't feel bigger than that, I'll be happy.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be a grouch, it's just that MR has been full of these type of threads over the last week.

The 6 Plus is not "too big", just like the 6 is not "Too Small".

Like I said, Too Big for you, but not as a statement of fact.

You're going to love the phone either way, you can't go wrong.

It's obnoxiously large, for a phone. I think a lot of people who get their 6+ are going to be disappointed whether they admit it or not. I'm glad I ordered just the 4.7" which will arrive in the next few hours via UPS

I have quite a few friends that have the Note and they all love it. You hear the same thing over and over, "at first I thought it was redonculously large, but after I used it for a week, I love it.

Have to agree mines arrived and its just to big have put in the case but not activated it yet going to see how i feel later but think it will be going back
