You have a playlist for each album? You know you can just click Browse and then select (or multiple select using the shift or command keys) whichever albums or artists you want and then they display in the main window?~Shard~ said:That is a feature that would really come in handy for me. I have lost count of how many 2-CD sets Ive ripped into iTunes, and then have to create a separate playlist for each disc. It would be great from an organization point of view to be bale to create a playlist/folder just for the set, then have CD 1 and CD 2 sub-folders/playlists nested within that one. Same with albums from the same artist. Although I of course want a playlist for each album, it would be nice if I could group all 12 of my Tower of Power albums, just as a example, into a Tower of Power playlist/folder and have each album listed within that. Basically it would be nice simply from an organizing and aesthetics points of view if nothing else...

I'd say nested albums would be much more useful in iPhoto than iTunes, as you say. I could group holidays together or nights out, for example. It would be nice if you could rearrange the playlist order in iTunes too.

mangoman said:Here's my 'sell' on nesting in iTunes: I repeatedly make CDs for my brother, my best friend, my wife, my parents, and my brother-in-law. Would be great if I could make 'parent' folders for each of them and file each particular playlist within that parent folder. Would save some serious clutter.
As it stands now, I end up exporting the older playlists to XML or Text files just to get 'em outta my way.
heh, it would be just a BIT hard to get a processor fast enough in an ipod to be able to decode H.264 format videos in real time. i'm not sure about the actual requirements, but i'm guessing that it would take a 600mhz g3 spec processor to decode like 640x480 H.264 videos. it would be cool thoughjtquick2001 said:is anyone forgeting that apple stopped selling the ipod dock? I mean think about it. the dock can be set next to the tv plugged into the tv and charged on a another outlet. videos can only be played once connected to the dock. photos can be viewed with out it so you can show them off at work.
and this will not be released until after tiger is released so that it uses H.264. it doesnt seem to hard to me.
