So I have decided that I have come to an impass with myself. I am just too damn OCD. I can't stand micro-scratches, but I also can't stand lint/ dust under my screen protector. Even if it doesn't really show itself unless I'm looking for it. I have applied a daswise perfectly from an alignment perspective, but there are 4 or 5 sued tiny peices of dust after a ridiculously thorough inspection. I'm just gonna leave it. I know it's protecting and o can't even see any of the dust while I type this post.

Lift the glass up and use scotch tape to grab the dust.

I spent some time a year ago researching iPhone 6 glass protectors, and came away disappointed. Nothing really worked well with the iPhone 6 at the time, cuts were off, and everyone seemed to be searching for the next holy grail to be released hoping it would be better. It wasn't. Now I'm researching for an iPhone 6s, and I'm a bit surprised to find the state of the glass screen protectors seems to be much the same - still none that are really great. It's also interesting the names that were tossed around a year ago as the best (Mime, iloome) are now infrequently mentioned in favor of new names (Daswise, Cinder, and Ice Max). But most seem to still have fit issues and peeling problems. I feel like with the iPhone 6 curved glass, there will never be a good fit, peeling will be exaggerated, and edge-to-edge protection will be difficult (especially with most cases). As much as I like the clarity and feel of glass, I'm not sure it's worth the fit issues, peeling, and constant chips (at least my experience). I don't want to leave my screen naked, but am seriously considering just going with a good quality plastic like PowerSupport. Cheap, easy to remove, and perhaps a better fit with less peeling - even if it isn't edge-to-edge. Yet even those are often cut too small to even cover the entire display area. Sigh. Maybe there will never be a good screen protector, glass or plastic, for the iPhone 6. At this point, I just want something quality that covers the entire display area, doesn't peel up, and works with cases. Any recommendations?

My IceMax has been perfect so far as well. Definitely recommend it. Just a little tedious to install but with patience can be done smoothly.

I'll chime in too with my usual praise for the Ice Max here. It's exactly as advertised and I don't have any problems with it at all. :)

I'll post some love for daswise. I had a problem with the 1st one I got lifting a little bit on one corner. They replaced it, 2 day shipping and the product was just 11 bucks on Amazon. Fits with my apple silicone case and I'm happy I don't have to worry about the dreaded micro scratches being on my actual display. Oleophobic Coating feels good and it glides just as well as the bare screen. I'm all about protection but just can't buy into some of the 30-40 dollar screen screen protectors I see in this thread.

I am getting the Rose Gold and I don't want a case that takes away from the iPhone original colour , so is there is such a thing as full body glass cover, I like the Cinder but it is only for the front of the phone , you guys came across a tempered glass full cover by any chance

OK, so I also bought an IceMax and would just like to give everyone my impressions of the IceMax vs. Daswise.

I ordered 2 in case the first install didn’t go well. The first install wasn’t terrible but I did get a little line on each side near the bottom of the screen. I waited about a week to see if it would resolve itself/become easier to remove, but it did not. Most people would have probably let it be, but I’m pretty OCD about this sort of stuff.

I then tried to reapply the screen protector a couple of times, but it got worse each time and noticed dirt/debris on the adhesive around the edges.

I installed the second IceMax and it went much smoother without any bubbling around the sides. There were a couple normal bubbles that were worked out easily.

I do like the IceMax more than the Daswise. It feels nicer than the Daswise and more "normal?" around the edges, but I don’t know if everyone would think it’s a necessary upgrade over Daswise at it’s current price point.

My impressions of the 2:

IceMax
Pros:
— Feels nicer than Daswise
— 3D edges should make the edges more durable on the screen protector
— Less dirt/debris around edges
Cons:
— More difficult to install, must be aligned nearly perfect to avoid bubbles
— Some dirt/debris still accumulates around the edges, but it’s just not visible until you take off the screen protector
— More expensive ($32 Amazon)
— Found it more susceptible to micro scratches than the Daswise

Daswise
Pros:
— Cheaper ($11 Amazon)
— Easier install for me, less chance of bubbling/easier to remove them
— Probably compatible with more cases than IceMax
Cons:
— I’ve found that chipping can happen quite easily around the edges, especially when not using a case
— Dust/debris around edges can be visible

My suggestion:
— If you are using a case with a lip around the entire phone I would go with the Daswise.
— If you are using your phone without a case or one with a very low profile, I would go with the IceMax

Anyone use an Icemax on a 6s with the iPhone 6 leather case on it?

It's a bit of a tight fit but works, I prefer the fit of the Apple Silicon case as the leather seems a bit strained and loses the normal lip. On the Amazon page the posted that the Apple Leather Case doesn't work with this screen protector

This is a great review! I've had both and would probably say the same things about both. Aside from me not liking the Daswise longterm and going with an upgraded SP.

Only difference might be my Tech21 case has a lip all around and it works perfectly with my Ice Max 3D. Maybe it's only tight-fitting lip cases that cause lifting? Food for thought.

That's with the 6 leather case right, not the 6s leather case on a 6s?

Accidentally ordered a black daswise for my silver 6s. Was going to return it to Amazon, but I kind of like the look (for now at least).

Don't use a case, but the edges seem to be holding up without lint, etc. Very easy to apply.

Chalk up another success for the IceMax. I was initially a little skeptical on trying out such an expensive protector ($39.99 for the Plus) that seemed to be very picky on placement (as aforementioned in this thread by some users) but was pleasantly surprised and relieved after my installation today! The screen protector fits perfectly and now I'm finally able to end my quest for the perfect one. The only major flaw is one speck of dust that managed to find its way underneath, despite my foggy bathroom and best efforts at cleaning, but that's my doing--the screen protector itself is not at fault.

The 3D edges are fantastic and feels like the naked phone edge itself; I have no issues with 3D Touch edge gestures. The glass feels natural and there's no sticky feeling.

The only minor issues I've noticed are that the cutouts are a little off for the top sensors, even with perfect placement around everything else. I also found that somehow I already have two tiny scratches on the glass, though I will say they aren't noticeable at all and only viewable at distinct angles.

Overall, I am more than satisfied despite the minor issues and more than anything I am RELIEVED I can finally be at peace with this screen protector on my iPhone 6S Plus.

Attached are a few crappy pictures (sorry--iPad camera). If you have any questions about the item and its real world use, I can try to answer them.

Side note - This screen protector DOES fit with the Tozo slim case (which is similar to the Caudabe Veil XT or Shumuri), just barely though!

Sorry, have to upload the pictures in a separate post... the forum's security measures thought I was 'spamming' when trying to attach the pictures in my original.

seems amazing. good job.
hope this will cover my small ugly scratch properly and make me forget it..

After 8+ years of using some kind of screen protection for my smartphone devices, I decided to go without protection with my 6s Plus. I never liked how it looked on my 6 Plus because it didn't go edge to edge. With the new type of glass that Apple is using for the 6s/6s Plus screen... it's supposed to be scratch resistant....I guess time will tell. It sure looks and feels GREAT without the screen protector. Knocking on wood, I don't have any scratches or microscopic scratches yet

Well let us know how your screen stands up to the scratches! If you ever want to return to screen protectors, try out the Ice Max--I forget I even have a screen protector on.
