I decided not to use a screen protector at all with my 6s Plus. The screens are stronger and better made than in the past. I do use an Otterbox Commuter case. I'm a retired home body.

i strongly advice you to put one. i got an ugly deep scratch while trying to handle the phone carefully.

Anker responded back to me and informed me their 6S updated tempered glass SP's should be out by the end of this month. That's this week.

I guess they have received similar complaints from users.

anyone else had this issue with the G.D.SMITH® Ice Max Series 3D ? this is actually the replacement they sent me after the first one did the same thing. these installs are pretty easy not sure how i could screw it up

no i didn't ive had 2 and they both did this. def looking for something else at this point

I can only think of the SP itself which might have been a tiny bit bent or something, that might cause this..
really weird when reading of many perfect results and yet some really bad ones..
did you complete that in one go? perhaps you've tried re-applying too many times?
bummer..

only 1 attempt on the one in the pic. the first one i had, i tried several times and it would not stick in the same spot every time. they sent me a new one saying the adhesive was defective. perhaps its from being so damn hard to remove from the plastic back its comes attached to? its very hard to separate from the plastic

hmmm... sounds like they have a few excuses ready in hand..
i guess some deliveries have too many unstable variables
(maybe hot weather through shipment ruins the adhesive? not good)
i hope i won't have to come to that since i dealt within Ebay..

Zagg also responded to my email and informed me the Luxe version of their screen protector is supposed to get rid of the halo effect and is designed for the 6S. Looks like they pretty much confirmed the screen are slightly different. That can explain why the edges of current S/P's arent sticking; even if the 6S curvature is off by the slightest .mm it's not gonna work with an existing 6 S/P.

These are just my observations.

i just swapped phones cause my screen had the greylines on it, I went in to apple, they gave me a new phone, I took my protector off, and put it on the new phone didnt care how, as I was going to fix it when i got to the office.
( i did notice when I took it off, that the home button and speaker part collect dust around the cut outs like crazy)
I had to take it off 3-4 times to get it to perfectly line up on the new phone, I have one piece of lint on the side of the screen, but the ice max fit just as well as it did on my first.

i saw a few sides had bubbles more then the other side, so id take it off, and realign it a little more towards the side that had bubbles to equal it out some, and its worked.

Just out of curiosity, are you guys using the tape on one side and fold it over carefully method to allow the air to escape slowly and the screen protector is kind of "folded" into place from the side?

My first attempt with GDSmith

I don't get it. There are others also XP the same problem as me. I also went to the AT&T store and the agent also tried to apply a SP and also had the same results

Out of curiosity I went to a place at my local mall that fixes gadget screens. The agent tried four different glass SP's made for the 6 and none would stick properly to my screen. I understand the edges are supposed to be short if it's not edge to edge and whatnot; but i am referring to a noticeable halo effect

One vendor on Amazon went on to say this halo effect is perfectly normal; I'm sure many would agree this is not true.

Is anyone else having the same trouble? By the time I find the SP that fits it'll be a few months shy of iphone 7 upgrade *_*.

Thinking of giving up and just going commando this time.

I'm having the same problems. It's driving me crazy, I've tried 2 Daswise as well as others and have not had any luck with fully getting rid of the bubbles.

Bodyguardz also confirmed they have modified their screen protectors slightly to resolve the halo effect that they have also heard of and seen.

Looks to me like all these vendors on Amazon are just slapping a "6S" sticker on the existing product and selling without actually testing them.

yup, they think - oh the same screen, we'll "update" the name and be done with it.
let the idiot costumers handle with the outcome.
lazy China men :apple:

I actually think that the issue here is that all screens aren't made equal. I had no issues installing the daswise on a 6s and a 6s plus and they didn't even slap a 's' on the packaging. Still the same one being sold for the 6 and 6 plus

weird.. such a shame they can't manufacture them equally.
or this might also be my other suspicion,
that the thin glass and adhesives might "change" a bit
while through various shipments around the globe (extreme cold, heat, squeezes and bumps).

Anyone have a link or know of a clear glass screen protector that covers the entire front of the iPhone 6s, not just the touch screen?

I am looking for the ones that don't have the white or black areas on it, just clear.

Thanks

I just put this one on my 6S Plus today. They also have one for the 6S. It covers the whole screen and the edges as well. This one looks really nice and was very easy to put on in a few seconds. This protector is so smooth that it feels just like the iPhones screen itself. I got the white one on Amazon for $14.95. It also comes in Black and Clear. Here's a link to it if you want to check it out. Btw, it works with all of my cases so far. :)
