Go with a name brand unless people who have tried the no-name brand AND the name brand can vouch for the two being identical. Why?
1. Thickness, fit and finish can and will vary with no-name brands.
2. The oleophobic coating will vary with a no-name brand. A bad one is immediately noticeable. A proper one should feel and work identical to the one that is on your iphone.
3. In the end, if you buy wrong just once and have to buy a second time, your cost savings are gone. And so is your time spent trying to hunt down the best deal. It's just not worth it. From experience.

That said, I do believe that there are good no-name brands that do use Corning and do use identical olephobic coatings, etc....finding them is the hard part and will almost certainly require trial and error.

Bodyguardz also confirmed they have modified their screen protectors slightly to resolve the halo effect that they have also heard of and seen.

Looks to me like all these vendors on Amazon are just slapping a "6S" sticker on the existing product and selling without actually testing them.

I concur!

Does anyone have a consensus on the best glass screen protector that goes a little beyond the actual touch screen? I am having issues with the width of the zagg since it is practically exactly the same as the screen so it is difficult to align and gives a weird rainbow line on the sides.

Thats because the iPhone 6 screen protectors are not compatible with the iPhone 6s. The screen is slightly curved more. Zagg, Anker and other companies are going to release a 6s protector shortly.

Just received and installed 2 Daswise on 2 iPhone 6S. Installation on both came out flawless, No halo. 2 thumbs up for Daswise!!

I just did a warranty claim on my zagg case friendly glass screen. When I compare the SKU of the new one they are sending, it is totally different than the original. Hopefully that means they have changed the screen to fit better on the screen. The last 2 have had the same SKU.

I know it will take a week to get, but let us know!

First 2 cases had SKUs of:

IP6GLC-F10 (said iPhone 6 on it)
IP6GLC-F20 (said iPhone 6/6s on it)

New one says IP6GLC-F00

Dunno if the fact that the numbers went down is good or bad lol...I will keep exchanging until they get it right though!

I applied a Cinder 6 Plus to my 6S Plus and it fit perfectly. Took a couple of tries, but I got all the bubbles out and for the first time in ages, no dust! I love it. It is like the native screen. So nice to swipe from the edge and feel the smooth curve.

Maybe there is some variation, but I have not personally seen it.

This is what they sent me as a warranty exchange and a $5.00 upgrade.

Not sure why they would send a squeegee and a bottle along with it.

So am I right in saying that so far, although manufacturers like Zagg and Spigen have confirmed they are "working on a solution", there isn't one out yet?

Many have gotten mixed results. As I previously stated a lot of these screen protectors on Amazon are mis labeled as being compatible with the 6S. I guess many are not aware that the 6S is just a little bit different in curvature then the 6; except for us tech geeks that read tech blogs and forums.

How come some companies have confirmed that they're working on a 6S compatible screen protector if the 6 and 6S screens are supposedly the same....

So far they're supposed to start coming out end of this month (now) or beginning of November.

Oh good! Did it work? No halo effect?

It just came in today, and I had a replacement Ice Max installed yesterday. I guess I'll keep it as back up.

Zagg confirmed in an email with me the Luxe doesn't have the halo effect. (Looks like these companies know about that damn halo effect)

From what I can see, there isn't a Luxe for the 6s+, only the 6s :(

I think there is one for the 6S+.

kgenova from YouTube, tech reviewer, recently reviewed one for the 6S+. She has a profile around these forums too.
