Finally got my Ice Max a few days ago. Looks great IMO. I got one tiny spec on the bottom and it's testing my OCD right now. So far, it's not that much of an issue. Great glass protector. My apple leather case fits it perfect.

The bubbles can be wiped out! Persistence is the key!

I'm very happy with my Ice Max and saddle brown leather case!

Currently there's nothing that is specifically made for the 6S. All these vendors claim their existing product is 6S compatible but all these threads from actual users would tell otherwise.

Yep this ^

All the screen protectors out there say they work with the 6s & 6s+ but it's really just accessory makers lying.

Every single glass screen protector will cause a "halo" around it's edges where dirt & grit can get trapped in and scratch the screen. Even the so called "edge-to-edge" protectors which have the black (or white) border do this, they just don't show the halo effect because of the black or white border hiding it. There is still dust and grit getting in between that gap though, just like the clear screen protectors, just that you won't see it right away until you take off the screen protector and finally see your screen all scratched up along the halo edge.

I'm using DasWise edge-to-edge glass screen protector for the iPhone 6+ (fits 6s+) and it's perfect!

No, it doesn't.

While it might fit the 6 and 6+ just fine... there isn't a single screen protector made for the 6s and 6s+ that fits perfectly and doesn't cause the 'halo' effect of the screen gap since the 6s and 6s+ screen curves a little more than the 6 and 6+.

Then how do you explain how it fits my 6s+ perfectly?

Like I just explained above, the Daswise (and other protectors with a black or white border) have the same halo gap that the transparent screen protectors do, but it simply doesn't show through the colored border.

The tiny gap IS there, and collecting dust / grit, you just don't see it behind the colored border. So no... it doesn't fit your 6s+ perfectly, you just think it does.

A tad picky aren't you? FIts perfectly for me compared to the other glass protectors I've tried and it sits flush on the screen without any visible bubbles.

Yeah you could say that. Picky and PISSED! (not at you of course, but at the accessory makers).

I recently had to take off my Spigen glass screen protector because there was so much grit getting in the halo gap that I knew if I kept it on I would eventually take off the protector a year from now and the screen area where the halo gap is would be all scratched up. When I took it off there was this line of crap all around the border of my phones screen that I had to wipe off (and you will too, even if you aren't seeing it behind your screen protectors colored black border).

So yeah, I am picky when it comes to keeping my $750 electronic device in mint condition. I want a screen protector to actually have NO gap and fit perfectly, the way screen protectors should. Just because you can't see the halo gap behind your screen protectors colored border doesn't mean it isn't there accumulating a bunch of crap that it shouldn't because these accessory makers are idiots.

Do you think you'll really end up with scratches though? It's not like the dust is moving around or anything. Should be stuck under the glass protector.

Looking at my screen protector, I don't see how it's lifted at the edges. It's sitting at the edge of the flat surface right before it curves.

It's possible for trapped dirt to scratch surfaces. That's why it's recommended to remove cases once in a while and clean it out.

iPhone 6s Screen Protector - Anker GlassGuard (Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector with LIFETIME WARRANTY) for Apple iPhone 6s (4.7 inch) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014ZQXMHC/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_a36pwbM1K00BY

Has anyone tried this one? It has a date first available of 10/28/2015

There's also two separate listings. One for the 6 and another for the 6S.

Maybe this one actually fits correctly halo-free?

Count me in as another person that thinks there are differences with screen not just from 6+ to 6s+ but also from phone to phone (at least on the 6s+). I bought 3 phones on launch day. 2 of the 3 (2 SG, 1 SIL) fit tempered protectors no problem. The last SG cannot have any installed screen protector. Not even PET film without halo'ed edges.
Pretty frustrating as it seems like the glass grinding process from phone to phone is not consistent across all phones.
I went without S/P for a few days, but because of a pretty active lifestyle, decided to put a plastic while I wait to see if there is a tempered protector developed with the proper fit.
Bummer being unable to install a protector....the phone is awesome. Good brightness, no dead pixels, good buttons, etc.
Worst thing is that there is no reason to return as there is technically nothing wrong with the phone.

How many other SG 6s+ folks out there are having the same issue?

According to the reviews, it has the same problems. Plus, the reviews go back way before the 6s launch.

There's a way to filter the reviews to the new product on the reviews section. One user on these forums stated it worked while another user said it didn't.

Just tried the icemax after having a daswise installed for a couple of weeks and I have to say, I prefer the daswise. As soon as I got done spending an hour on an install for the icemax, I pick my phone up and just hold it in my palm and the bottom corners start to lift! It may work great for most of you but it's just too temperamental to be a 40 dollar screen protector in my opinion. The daswise hasn't lifted with cases and has given me no issues thus far. All for 11 bucks.

Has anyone who has been using one of these protectors for a few weeks, removed it and inspected the phone's glass underneath?

I know my GDSmith has a gap, but I'm wondering if dust getting in there could really cause any scratches?

I've been just using a standard glass with the halo effect. I change it once every 2-3 weeks because I got a 3 pack for $9.99 on Amazon. There is a thick layer of dirt and grime around the edges where the halo is located. After cleaning it rigorously it all comes up and seems to not leave any scratches or streaks. With that being said, YMMV and that's why I replace it often. Edge-to-edge I'm unsure, and that is a lot more costly to remove and clean on a regular basis.
