That would be an edge to edge screen protector, would it not?

Did you see the photos? It's most definitely not hanging off any edges.
Some do. Apparently the Anker does not. But the problem most are having is that they do. My understanding of edge to edge is complete coverage of the screen.

Not sure if these images are ok. Damn dust and iPad Air camera. This is the "new" Anker non edge to edge SP on my 6S. No halo?

Thank you Danny :)

Ordered one thanks to your great detective work and look forward to finally having a proper 6s screen protector with no edge halo gap.

Well, Zagg just offered to swap the two Glass protectors I have on my phone and my dad's iPhone (both 6s Pluses) for Luxe protectors free of charge due to the problem. I've had the Glass on my phone replaced about a dozen times due to the halo effect. I finally found one that didn't have it except to the left of the home button. That protector cracked however and it got swapped with one that has the halo effect on all four sides.

Waiting to receive them in. They should be here before the holiday luckily.

I hate to say this, but the Zagg Luxe also has a halo effect on it. I tried it on mine. It's the black one in this picture. I was really disappointed. If you zoom in you can see the left and right sides have an air gap. I tried pushing it down but no luck.

Well, if it doesn't work out I'm gonna ask for a refund. This is rediculous. Thanks for the heads up! :)

Well....I think I am officially done with glass protectors. I ordered 2 different Anker 6S+ specific protectors and tried them both. They both halo.

I have spent over 100 bucks on multiple brands and they all halo (luckily all accepted returns). Making matters worse is that each time I try another one, I ditch the plastic one I am using in the interim, so I burning through those each time I try a glass one.

I am convinced that this is phone specific with some being worse than others. I am pretty sure that if I bought a brand new 6S+ (newer batch) it would prob be ok.

I have never experienced anything like this before, but I am convinced that this is true manufacturing variability. The smartphone screens are typically ground and polished. I suspect that there is some edge tolerancing variation that is so minimal (I'm guessing +/- .0005"), we can only see it when we attempt to adhere a flat surface to the curve.

Pretty frustrated.

Positive note: I am becoming pretty proficient at installing both glass and plastic screen protectors.

EDIT: The phone was I was talking about is a SG 6S+

Perhaps I need to just get a good film one and wait for the market to catch up to the 6s'. Anyone reccomend a good film one?

This is the first time I've heard of this on the first 6+. I thought the problem was with the new 6S and 6S+. It's very infuriating to say the least. I'm just surprised that not even the Anker ones worked.

The iPhone 6S is my first iPhone since the 5S. I've always used plastic screen protectors in the past - what are the main advantages of the tempered glass covers? From reading through the last few pages of the thread it seems like the glass covers aren't so good on the curved screen.
