Do non-edge to edge glass protectors chip? I'm on my second Daswise edge to edge, and while I love how the fit and feel, both of them have chipped. This is getting annoying as this is my second one in just a month. I love the look of edge to edge but I'm thinking of going non edge to edge if they don't chip.

Just wanted to add an update to this thread, I have been using the daswise 2.5D full coverage screen protector for a month now and had to make sure I updated my thoughts about the product. I am INCREDIBLY impressed.

I have never been a fan of screen protectors but after shining up my 6 plus for sale when the 6s plus came out I was a bit disappointed with how the screen held up. I always treat my phones with more respect than most of my electronics because I usually upgrade every year. They are always the only thing in a specific pocket, never even set my cases down on hard surfaces (always on some sort of paper, cloth, etc), and the screen on my 6 plus still seemed to attract hundreds of noticeable microscratches.

This time around I figured I'd try to keep the screen perfect. The combo I use is a mixture of an apple silicone case, and an Incipio Octane case. Both cases work great with this screen protector with no lift. After one month there is not one single scratch on this thing, no dust has made its way into any part of the protector, and it still looks and feels fantastic.

To the poster above, are you using a case with the daswise? If not I can imagine due to this screen protector not being full 3D, that chipping may occur with nothing protecting the sides of the protector. The customer service for daswise has been great. The first one I received didn't adhere properly and they sent another out for free and covered shipping.

I love having the peace of mind knowing my screen is protected and I feel like I can almost enjoy the phone more knowing that if I do drop it, it is covered in multiple ways. I will absolutely buy this again and would encourage people out there on the fence to give it a go. I mean it was 11 bucks. That's awesome considering all the competition in store starts around 35 bucks and looks terrible (IMO) on the phone.

Thanks for reading! And if you didn't,

TLDR: this thing rocks and holds up extremely well over time!

I'm using a Tozo case, which doesn't have a raised lip (basically a Viel XT) so this could be the issue. So 3D rounded edge protector are less prone to chipping? I've considered getting one but I would be pretty pissed if I spent $30 only to have one of those chip as well. I would order the icemax right now if I knew it wouldn't chip.

Do you know if non-edge to edge have chipping issues when going caseless (or in my case a super thin no lip case)?

To be honest this is the first time that I have used a screen protector with an iPhone. That being said, I did try the ice max, but it didn't work with any of my cases so it went right back after application. After playing with the ice max without a case when I did have it, I can say it probably won't chip, but I think there are other posters here in this thread or the ice max one with the exact combo you describe (tozo and ice max). I would imagine the only reason the daswise chipped is because of the exposed edges so close to the edge of the phone.

Ice max chipped and within a day the bottom right hand corner is missing- was in a apple leather case the whole time so I'm beyond puzzled as it wasn't dropped either- sigh, still recommend it

Damn...well if this doesn't work I'll go with a non edge to edge. Thanks for the update.

SUCCESS!!!

Last night I went shopping at Walmart and saw a different tzumi glass protector. This one comes in a black tin and the Marshall's tzumi comes in a white tin. The glass is different too - black tin has the front camera cut out, white tin does not.

The Walmart tzumi is a near flawless fit to the 6s Plus. There was one corner that was edging, but after a few mins of pushing down, it seems to be gone.

The hunt is over!

May have spoke too soon....
So after 6 hrs or so out and about with the phone mostly in my pocket - all edges of this tzumi attracts dust like crazy.

To those with the tzumi is this the case w/ yours?

So where are people buying ice max 3D now? Amazon is sold out, and Ali express take forever. Looking for a white 6s

I have some cheap Amazon protectors for my iPhone 6s. They do have a very minimal halo effect, but no, they have not chipped once. It was 3 for $9.99 (iFlash) or 2 for $7.99 (PowerDigital). I have the silver phone, so the white front hides the halo effect better. Doesn't bother me that much. PowerDigital have a slightly smaller halo effect, but they are a tad more expensive.

So what have we learned here folks? What are the best iPhone 6s screen protectors to get. After doing a lot of research I am coming to the conclusion that they all stink? Or is there one or two?

Actually, believe it or not I think there is something out there that works. After my Ice Max gave way (started lifting), I decided to give this a try. It's from Anker, specifically cut for the 6S. It seems to seal all the way around and the price is pretty cheap.

They have two different ones. One for the 6 and one for the 6S.

Good to know! Thanks! Once my cheap ones break, I will pick this up.
