6S/6s+ glass protector discussion [Merged]

I'm not questioning the install but did you apply extra pressure on the perimeter edges? Mine didn't adhere at the beginning. It was a pain to get the edges to stick.

I have said this before....

I bought 2 Iphone 6 models really later in the year. August.... They both have the Halo. My 6S also has the Halo.

My 2 6 models from launch day 2014...don't halo.

So supplier switch was some time during the year in my opinion.

I did. I took a photo and magnified the view. I don't have it anymore but it was something like the sketch I attached.

I'm assuming the black line is the screen and the red is the glass? So you had the edge to edge Anker?
 
I remember seeing a link to a graphic or page that showed edge to edge glass compatible cases. I think it was imos or something like that. Any one have that link handy?

Well **** :(

Anker glass protector didn't work. Was hoping I had Danny's luck with it but nope... 3 big halos around the left, right, and upper left edges.

Oh well, at least my snugg leather sleeve has been keeping it safe while naked so far.
 
Iv just bought another one I had very little halo the only halo I had was around the dust that was stuck to it

I decided to try Anker for my 6S Plus and yep.....halos.
Returned to Amazon this AM.

Just installed an Anker screen protector on the 6s Plus and there's no halo.

Edit: There's already a ton of dust around the edges of the screen protector.

need to get my wife a glass screen protector and she has my old 6. does it seem like the 6 doesn't experience these issues, just the new models?
 
i've tried every single screen protector that available outhere,
and none can be considered "good" full 3D coverage

except the imos
the latest imos 0.4mm is the best !
sure it's quite pricey, but in the end if you add up all those trial and error with other screen protector, the imos doesnt seem to xpensive anymore.

im using it on my 6s plus with an apple leather case saddle brown, couldn't be happier :p

thanks. i'll order some for my wife's phone.

i also may order the same thing for my mom's 6s+ and just see how they look on hers. getting the amfilm brand protectors i think. cheap and good reviews.
 
I bought an Anker screen protector a couple of months ago specifically for the iPhone 6s plus and it haloed. I reached out to Anker and they gave me a refund. They then reached out to me in an e-mail again and told me to buy the new screen protector which has Glassguard+ as this one will not halo. So i bought it a couple of days ago on amazon and installed it today it still haloed. Dont buy the new Anker Glassguard+ for the iPhone 6s plus.
 
Wow, I just read the whole 30 pages of this thread thinking I had problems installing these S/Ps, but it's more on the companies making them smh.

I finally decided to just leave my 6S without a screen protector, until someone can make one right.

After several glass protectors I went back to the Daswise. Got it for $8 on Amazon too! Installed w/o any issues.

I should have left well enough alone and left my original Daswise on my phone, saved myself from all that stress.
