So far so good. It's just a dust magnet on the edges.
I tried 2 and a few spots still won't stick. Not as bad as the others but I couldn't get the Anker to work on my 6S. I can press the edges and it sticks but then 5 minutes later it has popped up again.

The edges were a pain to stick. The thing eventually sealed all around after some pressure. Definitely nowhere near as difficult to install as the Ice Max 3D.

Any luck with the Anker?

I have one on the way too.

I ended up with a relatively expensive experiment that led me back to the Godosmith Icemax 3D. I got the new Anker GlassGuard+ and another Daswise to check that out once more for my 6s. All I know is that there was no way that that new Anker was going to work for me. The edges were literally raised around the side! And the Daswise had the same "not sealing" appearance as before. Amazon took those both back, but what a mess.

Here's a pic of the Anker. I just haven't found anything that comes close to being nearly as good as the Icemax 3D.

I went for the SecondSkin and really like it. Didn't even know Anker made screen protector's but they sure make the best power banks.

Ohhh yes. I know exactly. This seems to be a common issue (another common issue) with E2E SP's that are not "3D". The edges kind of hang off the curves and eventually will have dust and debris accumulate then it'll just look pretty bad.

So far I noticed there seems to be three types of SP's for our devices. Regular SP's that just cover the viewable LCD, E2E, and "3D" E2E, which are curved and cover the entire surface including the curved edges. The Ice Max is a perfect example and a very good product. It's just notoriously difficult to install and sort of case picky. I'd buy another one nonetheless. The regular Anker tempered one seems to be holding up just fine so far. I actually went through a couple, as the first few "haloed" on me as well. I guess the third time really was the charm.

I read the first 10 pages but is the Daswise still recommended for Edge-to-Edge protection? I never had an E2E so want to try it out. Also, I have a Rose Gold 6s+ so thinknig about getting a black Daswise to make the front Black :)

Mine just arrived, I'll put it on my phone and give you an update, that's right after we watch Star Wars ;)

Had the Godosmith Ice Max 3D for almost 2 months and the coating is wearing off. Finger prints and smudges are starting to show and there are slight scratches across the screen.

Sweet thanks! No rush and enjoy the movie!
Thanks! Movie was great, just got home and installed it, sadly no go - halos on the right and left are showing. I bet the top and bottom too, the black borders along the edges are probably just hiding it.

I've tried 4 brands so far - Spigen, Tech Armor, Maxboost, Daswise, all suffer from the so called halo effect, save your money. I'll just enjoy the beauty of the screen as is, I just have to be more careful.

I just got the Daswise edge-to-edge screen protector and the upper corners were completely lifted off the screen, it wouldn't adhere at all to the top of my screen. I ended up just returning it.

had my daswise for a couple of days.. lint on the sides and dust getting into the camera cutout.

got a refund from amazon...
any other suggestions? lol

Hate to tell you all screen protectors will get some sort of dust on the edges and most wil let some under the protector. Just hope it's not that bad

There is no perfect screen protector for the 6S. I'm running without one and the iPhone looks and feels so much better.

This obsession with protecting the screen is getting out of hand especially at that one dude who returned his iPhone because it caused a halo effect when a SP was applied. Beyond pathetic and embarrassing. SMFH.

Posted on the other thread but maybe I thought I'd share my experience here too. My first glass was a cheapo one from eBay but since it wasn't edge to edge, so it annoyed me especially when trying to use the 3d touch multitask function. So i eventually bought the IceMax from AliExp and took two weeks to arrive. I guess you can say it was a pain to install compared to other screen protectors but in the end it all worked out. It does feel kind of vulnerable to breaking especially when peeling off the layer prior to applying, so I'd recommend to be extra careful there.
Had no edge issues like others have reported with other cases. But yeah, a perfect install for me.
Hope this helps someone.

Thanks for the report! Guess I'll just stick with my cheap tech armor for now

i have had my dawise now for about a month. Not sure if it has dust under the black part of the protector, but after 24 hours the edges sealed down and no problem with it since. Fingers crossed it stays this way

FYI - I had my Godosmith Ice Max on for little more than a month. There was no dust at all when I removed it. Just the usual accumulations around the home button and earpiece, but nothing on the sides.

OK, so I also bought an IceMax and would just like to give everyone my impressions of the IceMax vs. Daswise.

I ordered 2 in case the first install didn’t go well. The first install wasn’t terrible but I did get a little line on each side near the bottom of the screen. I waited about a week to see if it would resolve itself/become easier to remove, but it did not. Most people would have probably let it be, but I’m pretty OCD about this sort of stuff.

I then tried to reapply the screen protector a couple of times, but it got worse each time and noticed dirt/debris on the adhesive around the edges.

I installed the second IceMax and it went much smoother without any bubbling around the sides. There were a couple normal bubbles that were worked out easily.

I do like the IceMax more than the Daswise. It feels nicer than the Daswise and more "normal?" around the edges, but I don’t know if everyone would think it’s a necessary upgrade over Daswise at it’s current price point.

My impressions of the 2:

IceMax
Pros:
— Feels nicer than Daswise
— 3D edges should make the edges more durable on the screen protector
— Less dirt/debris around edges
Cons:
— More difficult to install, must be aligned nearly perfect to avoid bubbles
— Some dirt/debris still accumulates around the edges, but it’s just not visible until you take off the screen protector
— More expensive ($32 Amazon)
— Found it more susceptible to micro scratches than the Daswise

Daswise
Pros:
— Cheaper ($11 Amazon)
— Easier install for me, less chance of bubbling/easier to remove them
— Probably compatible with more cases than IceMax
Cons:
— I’ve found that chipping can happen quite easily around the edges, especially when not using a case
— Dust/debris around edges can be visible

My suggestion:
— If you are using a case with a lip around the entire phone I would go with the Daswise.
— If you are using your phone without a case or one with a very low profile, I would go with the IceMax

Thanks for sharing, really helpful!

I tried yet another one a few nights ago. This time the brand was Pleson and of course, same result as always. Big halo gap that runs around the entire edge. So now I've tried Anker (including the ones that were supposedly made for the 6s specifically), Spigen, intelliARMOR, Pleson and Maxboost.

At this point, I've just accepted that I'll have to live with the halo. I'd rather do that and keep the resale value as high as possible than go without and end up with a screen that's scratched to ****.

EDIT: Just want to be clear that I have a black iPhone 6s. NOT the 6s Plus.
My iPhone 6 with Pleson, not the iphone 6s though
