I purchased two of those IceMax Screen protectors. One for my 6s plus and the other for our 6. I never even opened the 6 one after trying to install the 6s plus one. Worse piece of crap protector I have ever bought. I have had other glass ones, and this was the worse. Had constant bubble/air issues. I would push it out, and it comes back. The screen also wanted to move around on the phone a little if you pressed too hard. Will definitely not recommend this one. The hunt begins again. Here is a link to the one I got that was bad.

[doublepost=1466816694][/doublepost]Same exact problem. Mine was even worse than yours. Wish I saw this before ordering them. :( Amazon return at least is good. Ugh. Now to try and find a good one.

I ordered a few of these. Hope it's better than the IceMax crap.
It's not an equal comparison. Apples and oranges, as the GDSmith is full edge to edge and the Mantos isn't.

Just installed one of the Mantos. Very Very impressed with how it installed. It worked perfectly installing it on my phone. The adapter you place over it centers it correctly and makes it a breeze. I honestly didn't even have to push down at all for any air. The adhesive did all the work! Completely different compared to the other one. This is how my experience is with others. The IceMax is junk, do not waste your money on it. Also, this one works great with my spigen case. Here is a picture.

The edges of that screen protector look awful. They're so pronounced, and it will only get worse. If it's already collecting dort and grime and you just put it on, I can't imagine what it will look like in a few weeks.

It's not collecting anything so far. And a screen protector is a screen protector. It is not apples to oranges. So far this screen protector is doing great with no issues.

Glad to hear that it's not looking worse.

And, I'm sorry, but it's not an equal comparison. Comparing an edge-to-edge screen protector to a non-edge-to-edge screen protector is simply ignorant. Not even close to the same products.

Then in that case, I guess you are in the wrong topic. Because the topic says "Glass screen protectors" and not "Glass edge-to-edge screen protectors".

Congrats, that's the dumbest thing I've read all day.

You brought up the fact that you bought an E2E protector, was unhappy, so you bought a non-E2E protector.

I couldn't give a rat's ass what the thread title is--that's a red herring for the point being made. If you want to compare the two, go nuts.

I'm simply saying directly comparing the two is like saying, "The truck I bought was crap, so I bought a minivan."

If you don't like it, you don't have to read it now right? Many others here in this topic itself have compared the edge to edge with these as well. So give it up already.

It's interesting... I just feel like there's a big edge that could collect dust. I'll be curious to see how it goes over time.

Non-edge to edge glass screen protectors don't usually trap dust as long as there are no air bubbles or gaps, so hopefully KillaMac won't have any problems with the one he bought.

As an update, here are a few more pictures of it with that screen protector. It's doing well! No dust issues.

Do you have an S? I may give this a try.

Thx man! Is your phone an S? I've been passively looking for a new glass protector for my S. I had a bitch of a time finding one that adhered on the sides previously.

It's an 6s plus. I honestly gave up on the side ones because it either interfered with cases, or wouldn't adhere well. So this one so far has worked great.

I've been using these and loving them. You need to be mindful of your case though - I have a thin TPU case on my 6S. This won't work well with a tight fitting and more rigid case - the metal band will bend and separate. Naked and you will feel the chamfered edges.

I'm going switch it up and go with an E2E screen protector since my new case will accommodate them. Here are the ones I'm looking at. Could I get some feedback please on these.
This is for an iP6.
GODOSMITH Ice Max $17
Daswise $10
Anker GlassGuard+ for iPhone 6 $13
Anker GlassGuard+ for iPhone 6/6s $10 (not sure what's different from the above)

The Ice Max is a beast to install; a royal PITA, but when it's installed perfectly it's the best one out of all those you listed.

If you do opt for the ice max just remember it'll take some elbow grease to get rid of those air bubbles. Don't give up though. They'll disappear eventually.

If you'll be using it with a case, the Anker and Daswise are good choices. Their edges are somewhat sharp, hence the need for a case. If going caseless the Ice Max is the best. Nice smooth edges, but also works well with some cases (I use it with an apple leather case).

Does anyone know if you use the Mantos alignment contraption/installer with other brands of glass protectors? i.e. Anker?

I went with the GODOSMITH Ice Max. Got it today and the install was normal. Some large bubbles that pressed out without a problem. Using it with knockoff Caudabe The Sheath case. Looks and feels excellent. It goes great with the case as it is a smooth seamless transition.

Even with the hassles of installation - sometimes it's easier than others - IceMax is still my choice. Although recently I also tried these and they're pretty great, also.

I'm just done with the 6S' screen, seriously. I have it since launch day & I still have a "halo effect" glass protector. I've tried like 5 ones and it's always been the same issue, I think my screen is the problem. Let's just get the 7 and hope I won't have the same problem.

10months with a disgusting glass protector, kinda used to it now..
