The Dawise is a flat protector, like many of the existing protectors already out there, and that's why it's cheap and collects dust underneath. If you're looking for one that "actually fits", you need to go with one that is 3D.

Edit: I see OP is looking for non edge to edge. Unfortunately, both the ones I've used (Spigen and Xtremeguard) have that issue with the sides not adhering properly.

ok, so which 3D ones are less than 30$ and seem great?

So up to 5 pages an no one has a picture of a non edge to edge glass fitting a 6S.

Seems like the Space gray is the most popular or the one with the most issues.

Every brand I can think of now has pictures of this on Amazon in the reviews.

I'll have to take pictures but, there's a glass SP by Belkin that Apple sells in their stores. It's not edge to edge but I had an agent install one on my 6S and there is no bubble effect around the edges at all. Overall I'm happy with it. Only bad thing is that high price tag. I think I posted a link to it somewhere in one of the many SP threads. It's the Belkin Iris Invisiglass film. It's flexible glass. At .02MM it's thin.

It's been 7 days or normal use and the edges are still adhered. You can barely tell it's there on my SG 6S.

I'd like to know as well

yes, trying to search for that on amazon but not much coming up (most are 2.5D),
i wonder what's the big differences...
seems like only the high priced ones include a real 3D polished edge.

I haven't seen IVSO mentioned in this thread yet. I just purchased their edge to edge glass screen protector because it was only $7.50 on Amazon. Unfortunately, you can add it to the list of screen protectors that does not fit the 6s Plus very well. I have a ton of bubbles around the edge of the screen on mine.

What do you guys think are the best glass screen protectors

I would like something that's easy to install, I'm horrible at putting them on always get a hundred bubbles, and one that doesn't get dust around the edges, the last one I got did and got it horribly

So anyway I placed a order for the spigen .glas.tR.SLIM which should be back in stock on Tuesday and shipping then (hopefully) as well, is anyone using this and how is it working out for you?

i thought it was just me since this was our first glass protectors.... but i guess it's the product....

ya... LOVE the feel of the glass (the film one on my iPad mini feels sticky now that i've used glass on the phone!) but ha the gray line all around it....

i think i'm going to return them to amazon! since i don't feel they lived up to what they are supposed to be!

now i need to find a replacement!
m
Damn that's the one I ordered

Maybe you guys are doing something wrong?

None. Screen protectors have been unnecessary for years. The glass in iPhones is amazingly tough. My family has owned 8 iOS devices since the iPhone 3GS and has never scratched a single one!!! You are far more likely to crack the glass instead so do buy a good case that protects from drops but a screen protector is so '90s.

I didn't use one on the last 3 months I had the 6 plus and I got 100 micro scratches and the phone is worth a lot less and looks a lot worse then t should

I'll stick to a screen protector

Thanks

You should reference this thread: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/anyone-find-a-6s-glass-protector-that-actually-fits.1921438/

General consensus is Spigen's glass for the newer phones are not good.

Just a short update on my Spigen "Glas.tR SLIM (SGP11588)". I removed it yesterday evening and it left a large amount of residue of the adhesive on my screen - the screen was totally foggy. Whats worse is that it was horribly hard to remove. At first, i used some wet screen cleaner tissues which didnt work at all. Luckily, i still had some TFT cleaning liquid around. After 5 minutes of hard work the screen was fine again... wow.

In short: i cannot recommend this prodcut.

Same thing happened with mine. I panicked because it wasn't coming off until I used another cleaner. Never again.

Should I be canceling my spigen glas tr slim and switch my order to maxboost? Anyone try amplim?

thoughts?

seems like the 3D "polished" edges protectors are slowly becoming available,
(most are "2.5D", whatever that means).
unfortunately the few good ones are at the very top of the price list (50$).
which is always a kind of a gamble
since there's no 100% guarantee they'll perfectly fit /gather dust/ etc.

we can all discuss the differences here, share recent experience with the new phones,
and especially bring some cheaper 3D options to the table ;)

I wonder how well force touch works with screen protectors. I do appreciate a 3D screen protector though. It always looked weird that the protector stopped before the curvature.

Just ordered the B-noble 3D edge-to-edge from Amazon. Arrives tomorrow. Hoping it's good and works with my Apple silicone case. It's £26 so better do!

i bet these are basically the same product as the 50$ ones, just sold without the pricey name..
but who will be the test rabbit?

Not sure if I have the lighting correct but this is my 6S with some Belkin glass SP from the Apple Store. It's not edge to edge. I don't think it's tempered either. So far so good.
