I feel like maybe many of you just leave your phone in your pocket or don't use it very much with the screen on? I don't see anywhere near that battery life on my 6s Plus. Can drop a percentage point every few minutes with the screen on.

Well I don't use my phone a whole whole lot while I'm at work but usage wise I'm talking about 10-11 hours daily. That's pretty good usage for a phone

You guys are making me jealous with all this 6s+ battery talk. I have the 6s now and the battery is ok but cant wait until the Pluses are back in stock so I can switch.

I've had these phones in the past several years:
iPhone 5s
Galaxy s3
Nexus 5
HTC One M8
iPhone 6 Plus
Galaxy s6

And the iPhone 6s Plus BLOWS the others out of the water with its battery. I don't have to charge it until I go to bed.
The Plus is a lot bigger than all those Android phones. Those are competitors with the 6s, not the 6s+ in terms of size and battery life. The Nexus 6 and Note 5 are MUCH better than nexus 5 and Galaxy S6.

The Sony phones have the best battery life, no contest and no debate. But of course, a smartphone is more than just battery life. ;)

Agree wholeheartedly...my old z3v has just as good battery life as my 6+

I'm looking forward to the battery life of the 6s+.. Just placed an order on one and I'm tired of the short battery life on my 6. I especially notice it on trips or long weekends where I have to constantly have to worry about plugging my phone in as I tend to take lots of pictures.

Talking, yes. Screen is off usually.

Not saying I'm "talking" on my phone 10-11 hours a day ... I was saying ... I'm talking ... As in like I'm saying 10-11 hours a day. When I say 10-11 hours I'm talking screen on usage. Not talking on the phone usage

Impressive. Less than 10% battery usage per hour with the screen on? Never see that.

I've had a 6+ for a year and now a 6S+. I basically can't kill the battery even on long travel days unless I do something stupid like run the navigation for hours unplugged. I like not having to charge my phone at night out of necessity like I did with other phones. In typical usage I rarely go to bed with less than 50% battery.

My battery right now is 47% with 6 hrs 43 minutes usage and 18 hrs 4 minutes standby

So 10-11 hours usage per day and go to bed with more than20%

I've had that sort of usage, too. Most of it is my Apple Watch, though, or phone usage with the screen off.

Battery not and issue with 6s Plus. Really can turn off percent notice and just use the phone. Charge it each night and good to go all day, and then some.

This is why I returned my 6s today and I'll wait until I can find a 6s+. My results won't be this extreme, but every phone I used last year (6, 6+, OPO, G3, Q10, Nexus 6, S6) needed to be charged by 5pm or earlier, except for my 6+.

That may do with your cell network/ WiFi signal. All my phones since the original iPhones last an extra hour or two when I visit my brothers place in a different state. Proximity to cell towers and the bands that the carrier uses may impact the amount of energy needed by the phone to stay connected.

Oh absolutely this is true. When I visit my family in London, cell signal is consistently poor, and my iPhone battery would always die more quickly there.

However, I'm in Seattle, have full signal LTE, and no issue. Mind you, my iPhone 6s Plus has all sorts of issues, really, so having poor battery life as well doesn't surprise me. :D

Not sure how everyone is getting "amazing" battery life on their s+. I for one am experiencing not so great battery life on my s+.
My old 6+ held a charge for "MUCH" longer than what I have experienced with the s+.
I am a heavy internet user on my phone and I can say that my battery life has made this experience with the s+ not so great.
My old 6+ held a charge till around 4-6pm where I am charging my new S+ around noon at times.
I am starting to think that I have a bad battery ?
Would anyone know how to properly detect a faulty battery ?
I feel like I may need a genius appointment to get this straightened out.
Very frustrating to have this problem. Maybe I should have kept the 6s .......

the Facebook app may be the culprit.

Took my phone off the charger last night around 7pm. It is now 10:50PM the next day and I am still sitting at 27%. The 6S+ just doesn't die LOL. And this is coming from someone that would have to charge their 6 two or three times a day.

I'm excited because this is the first iPhone I've ever owned that I have not had to worry about the battery even in the slightest bit throughout the day.

I'm the same way with my 6s Plus. Heavy Internet user, not seeing the battery life I got on my 6 Plus.

I don't use Facebook. :)

Have you turned on ad blocking and tracking block? You can cut downloads to a fraction and speed everything up. Some sites add literally dozens of ads and tracking software. These eat up battery as well as slowing you down and increasing data usage.

But still have worse battery life than even the 6 plus. Let alone the 6S plus.
