I did some research buddy and it takes about 85 minutes to charge a iPhone 6s+ from 0-100. So at 50% -60% it would take half a hour. Just for your knowledge.

My 6S+ takes 4 hours to charge using the standard charger, so I would assume that an iPad charger would take approx half that time.

Yep. All I use for my iPhones for the last few years are the iPad chargers. I keep the iPhone cube or charger block in the box for a later resale. I never knew the exact charging time. Just knew it was quick.

iPad 12 watt charger, iPhone 6s Plus, charge from zero/shutdown to 99% in one hour, 55 min. Reaching 100% with additional 15 minutes trickle charging. Test conducted two days ago. Charge rate observed 0-70%,, one percent per minute. Phone condition during charge, asleep with radios active.

It is! I'm getting 8+ hours of usage every time. Coming from a 6 I couldn't be happier. It's almost similar to iPad numbers. Amazing

This seems low for a 6s + no?

99% on wifi all day, screen below 50%

Background app refresh off

Someone on this thread earlier posted over 12 hours usage and 92 hours stand by and their main app used was Facebook with 51% followed by YouTube with 23%

They may have used 100% WiFi and with mobile data switched off, plus location services toggled off and goodness knows what else. There are way too many variables.
My 6+ and now my 6S+ return pretty much the same battery life, ie 8-12 hours dependent on how heavily I use the phone.

Someone posts usage stats of 14-17 hours and people think their phone or battery is faulty because they aren't seeing that kind of battery life. You can kill a 6S+ battery in less than five hours if you want to.

Yeah the 6+ and now 6S+ are among the best battery ever experienced in a mobile phone. It pretty much makes worrying about battery life irrelevant. I'm using my phone almost all day and it makes it from 6-7AM to 11PM with around 30% remaining each day off a full charge. When I had the 5S it died around 5PM and the 6 lasted until about 8PM.
How much are you on your phone? I ask because I have an iPhone 6s Plus (TSMC chip) and I get to 30% but from 8am to 5pm.

I was wifi 99%

Yeah but did you have mobile data switched off? Did you have a poor signal? What were you doing on Facebook, lots of opening threads/groups/comments/watching videos? How you use Facebook matters too. Like I said, there are loads of variables and anything over 10 hours is good for a 6S+. Anything over 12 hours is exceptional, and anything beyond that signifies low usage/light drain apps/music with the screen off/large iCloud backups with the screen off etc.

This thread is surprising. I'm finding battery life to be a little worse that the 6+
My 6s plus seems to get 2-3 fewer hours per charge than my 6 plus did. That phone blew me away when I got it. The 6s plus battery performance has been extremely disappointing. The phone is crazy fast though.

Alright, guess I was expecting a little better

And once I reached 1% I did not reach 10 hours usage

Also is there any reason why my phone would suddenly get really hot when I'm not even using it? Picked it up earlier to make a call and the back was super hot. Went away while I was on the call

Maybe since the phone is new your using it more in the beginning ?

Is the most popular phone in the world that's why is hot

This is today's usage earlier. Not so heavy usage throughout the day compare to my work day which I would have YouTube on for the entire day. LTE and Bluetooth on, wifi signal off, location and background refresh on for certain apps, the weird thing is all those apps that show background activities actually have background refresh off or there's no setting for background refresh. I'll try to remember to close those apps completely from now on...

I don't know I'm expecting too much from the 6S plus.

Valid point, but the novelty quickly wears off for me. That and I have been too busy to play with it much. I'm not on the Facebook, so no simple answer there. Found out I have the tsmc chip, which surprised me. It shouldn't have, looks like less than 9 percent of 128 GB iPhone 6s users have the Samsung chip. Well according to that guys limited statistics.

I'm really considering the 6S Plus. I have an iPhone 6 right now, and would love the better battery life (I always have to charge my iPhone when getting home from work). I'm just in doubt about the larger size..... Hmm..

I jumped from 6 to 6s Plus. Love the phone, but don't like using it with a case. Without a case it feels as thick as my 6 did with a case on it.
