The only time I see lag is on the unlocking sometime. Doesn't always happen & seems pretty random when it does. Am running the release version of 9.2. It's weird as the phone seems not to be able too react fast enough in relation to the fingerprint scan.

I faced lag and freeze issues when I upgraded my OS (not iPhone, but other). And you won't believe me, I lag when I open my camera, messenger, internet and I suffered with the worst lag when I tried to exit the app. Looks like there are few bugs that needed to be taken care by the developers... !! I bought it from Flipkart mobile online store which was my biggest mistake, I guess !!

However, restoring the files can keep us in the safe side.

Mine still does it on 9.2. I updated it out of the box right to 9.2 and set it up as new. It freezes every now and then, but I can't figure out why. If I shut down some of the background app refreshes it seems to help for a bit. But always reappears at some point in time during the day. This is honestly the only issue I have with this phone.

After receiving a iMini 4 for Xmas, it has given me the opportunity to side by side compare the Mini 3 and 4 ;)
Both are 64GB LTE models.

Surprisingly, maybe not, for the most part I am seeing the same lags, stutters, and other issues on both devices. They are significantly less impacting on the Mini 4, however they still exist.

About a month with my new 6s plus now. I have seen what might be called a "lag" perhaps 8 times. Two of them were on the home screen when unlocking. The others were in different apps, mostly when unlocking the phone while they were active. All of them were very brief.

A bit annoying and I wish Apple would fix it, but it's certainly nothing I would consider a "serious issue". ;)

I had lag on mine when I first got it then it went away. Now I got a new iPhone replacement and its lagging a little on unlock. But I wonder if it will go away like my other phone did.

Does anyone find the Spotlight search eventually just stops working? As if the phone runs out of RAM or something necessary to do the search....got the 128gb 6s plus...eventually the app search doesn't work...the only way to correct that I've found is the trick I read about for clearing the memory..ie. Hold power button till it says Slide to turn off, then hold home button until it goes back to home screen...anyone experiencing this? I have 152 apps installed...wondering if it's an OS 9 issue or my particular phone...thanks!

Yeah, I can't figure out what causes it. It goes for days with nothing and then I'll go to unlock it and it lags and the clock disappears. Pretty annoying.
Mine does that too. Also sometimes when I unlock I see the icons zoomed big and then go normal. If that makes sense.

Yep. I've seen mine do the same thing. Hopefully the next update clears some of this up. This is seriously an incredible phone with one annoyingly large glitch.

I've seen the sort of digitized looking pixeled instead of blurry background fade once when swiping to the right to search for apps. Otherwise things have been fine on my 6S Plus. I like the display too so that's super. I updated OTA from 9.1 (out of the box on Christmas Day) to 9.2 a week or so ago.

My old defective phone never did it that I remember but. Like I said I did have some lag on the phone in the beginning and then it randomly went away. Maybe the phone is still registering since I started it at new. Idk. I remember there being a rumor of the phones needing to load everything in the background.

Maybe it's just me but it seems this lag thing is more present with the Plus models. I have not had any issues with my 4.7" iPhone 6s.

In fairness many of us with the plus haven't experienced this lag issue. I've had two 6S+'s and neither had any problems reported here other than the force touch animation FPS glitch that has been fixed.

This issue has been resolved long time ago. If you recently bought one give it some time it should go away
