They don't have to release a beta for 7.1, so your logic is flawed.

They are going to re-introduce iCloud keychain, which was present in the iOS 7 betas but taken out in the GM. It's a major feature, and has already been tested.

Also, they don't need to release a beta for bug fixes. They really only release them to test new features, which, as I mentioned, was already tested in the betas.

this along with iOS Notifications on Mavericks seems like something that would merit a 7.1 update that wouldn't necessarily require a whole lot of beta testing since I believe it's already done.

7.1 implies it is more than a bug fix release however. If it were a bug fix release it would be 7.0.x. In the past, we have seen betas for 5.1 and 6.1. Maybe it will be different this time, but 7.1 certainly implies many changes beyond bug fixes.

Hope it comes out soon! iOS 7 is pretty solid for me, but there are just a couple of issues that need to be fixed.

I hope it fixes the font issue with itunes. When the screen is locked, the carrier bar font is much larger than when the phone isn't locked....bugs me!

I think that's so you can get a better glance at the menu bar if you are checking your phone really quick.

That's funny, because EVERYONE I know with iOS 7 hasn't had problems with iMessage.

I only had problem with iMessage once since ios 7 update. But my friends have to restart their phone every other day to get it to work. Maybe this is server side issue ? I'm based in the UK.

Until Apple fixes this, we will be using Whatsapp instead.

That sucks. I use Whatsapp but am annoyed with the lack of an update. I'm based in Jordan and all the people here don't have problems. My friends in the States that I message don't have problems with iMessage either. Most of them are in Texas. Very strange.

it could be also related to carriers. Two of friends have problems with iMessage, i don't. But they both are on same carrier while i'm on different.

If you guys back up thru computer, you'll notice this message.. So I believe 7.0.3 will only come out next week...

It will always display this kind of message if your software is up to date. It means nothing 🙂

No no, look at the message "iTunes will automatically check for an update again on 15/10/13". That time before 7.0.2 came out it displayed a similar message and its accurate.

lol, it was always like that, on 15/10/13 it will check automatically then date will change again and etc. It was always like that. Itunes checks automatically software updates after some days and it isnt related to upcoming updates release dates at all.

No, iTunes always gives you date for when it will check for another update. I believe it's a weekly schedule.
