I hope they don't "fix" the battery life since on my phone it's even better than it ever was on iOS 6.

I think the battery issues honestly are a matter of preference... i agree there is battery drain but maybe that is in part due to the constant polling for app updates... I think apps and developers often over use that feature and polling for notifications, checking for updates etc etc etc is not just an Apple problem.Read one of the threads where people write about their bad battery life and strange battery % behaviour. You are one of the few, that has no problems.
I would disagree and say it is not few. Most I know has no problems. Lots of the issues are related to extra background usage that is so inexplicably hidden from normal usage areas. It should be easier to disable for the non informed user. Also these boards are only a minority of re users and generally the more tech savvy of the users, so using complaints here is not really a fair sampling.
I think he's referring to this....because everyone who builds a house relies on their iPhone compass and level (motion sensors) these days.
As you can see, one guy built his house with his iPhone and it turned out like this.

Most people i know have problems even with all those things manually turned off. And they never visit the internet to check for rumors or anything like that.
How is it funny? Some people have the issue and some don't. How is that hard to believe?
I could say the same thing about my friends and most of the things they own, but then again I am a support engineer and considered the "resident" expert by them so they generally bring all their issues to me if they exists. If I ask talk to them and they don't bring up issues I assume they are not experiencing them (probably flawed logic but how it has always worked with them in the past so I just keep that norm)
It has nothing to do with building a house. It affects games, some photo apps etc.

The house building thing was obviously a joke, and yes I see the potential issues with motion sensors in game play. Though it's not that big of an issue. There is no Compassgate, it's a minor issue.
there have been iOS updates on fridays.. but I would not be surprised if its not released this week.. cant trust the source that said it would be released this week.. BGR has been wrong a lot.

+1 for this bug... It annoys the **** out of me seeing the status bar being larger at the lock screen than it is unlocked smfh... Wtf was Apple thinking?!
maybe they wont even release iOS 7.0.3 and just go straight to 7.1 when the iPad is released.. either way apple did confirm a update this month to fix the issues.
I'm sorry to tell you but my wife and I both did fresh installs on iPhone 5 and have surprisingly good battery on 7.0.2.
not today either says iOS 7.0.2 is up to date

iOS updates are always released around 10:00 am PST so not happening today for sure.
