Purchased my gold 32gb iPhone 5S at 12:04am PST, just a couple hours ago my online statutes from the apple online store changed to "Preparing for shipment". Expected time of delivery: Oct 10-16

ordered around 12:05am at launch

Still processing.

Just checked mine and it is showing as preparing for shipment. Ordered at 12:09hrs PST Friday , 32GB, Space Gray, US Apple Store, Shipping to Las Vegas. I had checked earlier this afternoon and it was still eligible to be canceled and now it is not.

Looks like it will be leaving this weekend. Maybe I will see it next week.

Same except a 64G Gold ATT.
 
As I pointed out would be likely, the second wave of orders looks to be shipping approximately one week early.

However, gold devices are still constrained. Many gold devices from the 1-3 day group still haven't shipped. If you're in the 7-10 day group, your gold device probably won't be shipped for a while.
 
What gives... Ordered apple.ca at 3:02am EDT and still just "processing".

Maybe I'll wake up in the morning with good news.

We've seen gold moving to preparing for shipping in this group. I think it all depends on size/carrier.

Yeah, that's fair. But in general, the golds seem to be the most constrained by far. Some 1-3 group people are actually having their shipping estimates delayed, which is pretty rare for Apple.

Even though my ATT 64g Gold is preparing for shipment? I am in the 7-10 group.

Edit to clarify: USA order, placed around 10AM eastern time on the day of release. It's a "no contract" unlocked GSM version ordered as T-Mobile (I am on AT&T). My confirmation email says "unlocked" so that doesn't concern me.

My unlocked Space Grey iPhone just moved to "preparing for shipment" :D

Gold 16 att ordered 12:17 am pst. Credit card out wrong zip code. Corrected issue by 6am. Still processing.
